Highly highly recommended B&B in a great location!
Although it said check in closes at 7, we phoned around 5.30pm to say that we were stuck in traffic and may be slightly later to which the lovely owner, Louise, said "no problem, I finish at 6.30 but pop into the bar and the barmaid will give you the keys etc". We arrived bang on 7pm and Louise was still there and gave us so much info on things to do around Bath (with leaflets and a map), where to get the bus (even printed out a bus timetable for us!) and where to get breakfast as it is now only a Bed (not Bed and Breakfast)- no problem for us. 

The room was beautiful!! Very quirky and the attention to detail was amazing. There was plenty of tea, coffee, latte sachets, hot chocolate, milk, sugar and biscuits. There was even a bar of chocolate and a can of gin and tonic! 
The place is spotlessly clean! You can tell how much care and attention  goes into each and every aspect. 
The bar is only open on Friday evenings but, again, lovely and quirky. Barmaid was really friendly and so were the locals that we're in that night, who happened to be the gardener for outside The Royal Crescent- he had plenty of info and recommendations to give us!  

The bus stop is literally across the road with regular buses throughout the day and into late night. 
There is a community Hub down the road (3-4min walk) which serve a lovely breakfast, lunch and pizza's in the evening. There's also a chippy across the road too (we didn't sample it).

Overall, we loved our stay and when we come back to Bath again in the future, we will definitely be back to Forester and Flower!

Great food and selection of wines and beer.
Fabulous hospitality from a very friendly owner makes for a memorable eating and drinking experience  .
I have returned here often since 2006 and would recommend it to friends and anyone travelling to Bath. 

Excellent place to eat and drink with a really funky decor

Fab quirky b&b in bath. Very welcoming and helpful owner. The b&b is a short bus ride into the centre of bath. Well priced and well appointed room. Really appreciated the hospitality tray - galaxy choc, biscuits, cocktail in a can. Very much appreciated ❤️
Free parking on site. The b&b doesn’t serve breakfast but there is a cafe about 5 minutes walk away that has a good offering. 
Would stay here again. 

Quirky b&b - a great stay 

Myself and a friend had a weekend in Bath and stayed at this b&b. It is fabulous, the decor is amazing and if we could take the wallpaper home, we would have! Bed was very comfy, pillows where amazing. I think the cost of the room was really good aswell, on arrival we met the owner who had bus information ready and places to eat  great knowledge on things to do, and she's just so friendly.  We drove to Bath but decided to use the bus to go into town.. bus stop right outside the hotel, 5 min and your in town, bus ran till midnight. The hub 2 min walk from hotel did a very good breakfast for a very good price too .. can not fault! When I come to Bath again in future I will most deff stay here and have already recommended to others .. 

Fabulous in every way

The hotel is a mile south of the town centre, it's right on the Number 2 bus route which runs frequently and will get you direct to the Railway Station and central Bath in about 15 minutes.  
We were greeted by the owner who couldn't be more helpful, they told us what bus to get and told us about the history of the pub and surrounding area.
The rooms are really weird, all different beds and it's like sleeping in a museum - there's so much random stuff in there it's like an adventure and you end up discovering new random things! 
Even though they were full of random stuff the rooms were immaculate, as were the bathrooms which included some very swanky shower gel and soaps. 
The rooms all have ladies names, ours was called "Lily". Lily didn't have an en-suit bathroom but we had our own private bathroom just a few feet down the hall- this wasn't really an issue. In some way it was nice to have the bathroom separate. 
The hotel has a lovely bar area downstairs which again is more like a museum, you could spend hours examining all the artefacts! 
We both really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again! 
We chose the Forester and Flower as we wanted to be near Castle Farm in Midford for a wedding reception but were so impressed we'd actually stop here again even if we were just visiting central Bath.

A quirky refreshing change from the norm. Clean, tidy, fascinating decor and quick access to Bath town.

Had a great experience here. Hotel is really quirky... we loved it! The price was very reasonable and the room was clean and welcoming. The owner was fab, she was more than helpful printing out out local bus routes, taxi numbers and the menu for over the road. I would definetly reccomend staying here.

Definetly recommend

Fantastic experience , in the old building which is surrounded by some fascinating history. The B&B decor is unique, quirky and fun , just how we like it, like home from home. Accommodation very well priced, clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea and coffee available. The landlady was amazing and went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. There is a bus service that runs regularly too and from Bath City Centre and a lovely cafe near by called ‘The Hub’.  We absolutely loved our stay, and it beats any hotel. We are definitely coming back and will be staying again each time we visit bath from now on.

An excellent and amazing place to stay .

Stayed overnight with friends. We had two rooms, one with en-suite other with separate bathroom. Both were very clean and comfortable. Host allowed us to check in early and use car park which was so helpful. Host also had timetable for bus service into city centre which runs literally outside the door. Five minutes and you are in the centre, very frequent service. Highly recommend.

Great value, clean, excellent host

I had a fantastic stay here last night. I received a
Warm welcome and had a great night's sleep on a very comfy bed. The Landlady was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and was clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend The Forester and Flower for anyone looking for a pleasant stay and good value for money.

Great Stay

Such a lovely warm welcome to a lovely quirky B&B. 
Rooms were very clean and comfortable and bathrooms spotless. 
Louise was a lovely host and extremely helpful with local information. 
Tea, coffee, TV and free WiFi. 
Really well done. Such a great find.
