What was good

The location was easy access from Heathrow (15 min on the express train to Paddington and a 5 min walk). It was also close to the Tube but because the tube runs under the hotel we could hear a rumble (sort of like low thunder) especially at night when we had the window open. On the corner near the hotel you can also catch the Hop on Hop off tour bus. We liked that this hotel didn't break our budget (realizing that all hotels are expensive in London) and pleased that it included a filling breakfast. It was nice to have a small refrigerator to keep our bottled water cold.

What was bad

No AC (but most hotels in this range don't have AC) and it was warmer than average for our August stay. They did provide a fan and we could open the window so that helped. The rooms are tiny, only space on one side of the bed to walk but not comfortably pass each other. There was space to store our bags behind the headboard but it was a tight fit.
