We had a great 1 night stay at this Wetherspoons hotel. The staff were lovely, the room was brilliant and the food was great. We were really impressed with our Family room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, which were up stairs. So was great for our 13 year old daughter and cousin to sleep in as it had a large tv up there. The room was so clean, the decore was lovely. The coffee tray was filled with good brand items as shown in photos and bottles of water.  We spent the early afternoon in the bar and restraunt and used the wetherspoon app which the staff were very efficient.  

Great stay at The Greyhound in Bridport

We had a lovely stay here for a midweek getaway. 
Our room was lovely, although the floor slopped, and spotlessly clean. The toilet cistern kept running but we managed to stop it by pummping the button a few times.
We were on the 2nd floor right at the end of the corridor, lots of doors to go through, and because our room was at the front of the pub and on a busy road, I was expecting it to be noisy but it was surprisingly quiet. 
Facilities were good, hair dryer, iron, tea coffee, milk, oat milk, biscuits, etc, which were replenished every day.
 Breakfast was good, staff were great. The pub is in a great location. There isn't parking on the site so we booked the Tannery carpark on a parking app, which cost £7.50 for the 3 night stay. 

Lovely stay, great location

We stayed here for 1 night with our little girl, the lady that checked us In couldn't have been more helpful, not just with checking us in but whilst we were having our meal! Our room was a great size, with the sofa bed made up on arrival. The bathroom was immaculate (as was the room)

We were a little worried that,  being above a large pub/eatery it would be noisy in the room but we heard nothing of the people enjoying a drink/food downstairs.
Would definatly reccomend if your looking to stay.

Great

Staff were fantastic. Room was uncomfortable. Bedding was old and uncomfortable. Restaurant cold. No heating in any room. I've stayed in many lovely wetherspoons hotels,this was by far the worst. I was surprised by how bad it was and couldn't wait to come home to a clean bed and nice pillows.

Complete dive, staff are rude.. hygiene is non existent and it’s just an overall dump.. sounds harsh but couldn’t be more true.. spoilt with the standard of weather spoons where we are from and that’s saying something.. avoid at all costs GROSS

Avoid at all costs not a real weatherspoons pub!

Called in for a meal, decor is tatty, chairs worn an torn fabric. We ordered a meal & drinks, after paying and waiting ten minutes we were told our meal was not available so we asked for a refund. We got the refund but the person dealing with us was very rude. She also charged us double for thr drinks as we did not gave food. Next time it's back to the Market House

Rude staff

The recent increase for a traditional breakfast and coffee has now pushed me to spend my money elsewhere even though it's a tadge more expensive as I can no longer justify paying to eat  small portions (a desert spoon of  baked beans) which are consistently cold as well as at times overcooked fried eggs (to name just two) and then eating off an uncleaned table. I use a lot of your pubs but the Greyhound 
Bridport has been the worse for years. Come on JD Witherspoon's,  it can't be hard to keep standards up to a level of acceptability.

One of the worst experiences I have ever   had in my life.
The noise coming from the kitchen was a disgrace .It seemed to be OK for kitchen staff to make as much noise as possible ie  music and swearing as loud as they could .The manager was informed but nothing was done to rectify  the situation .I was on the verge of entering the kitchen myself but my wife stopped me .All in all a horrible experience  and would not consider visiting ever again .

Horrendous  kitchen staff 

Just back from a couple of nights stay at the greyhound in Bridport.
The room was amazing, very clean and loads of towels, tea, coffee etc.
The bar staff Tegan, Kirsty and Ryan were all friendly and very helpful. Ryan very efficiently processed a refund for me when our breakfast order was delayed.

Great stay

Another excelllent Spoons Hotel great location to travel around the wonderful area.

The building  itself is full of history and has really well preserved features incorperated into comfortable living rooms and bedrooms.

Very comfortable beds bright modern bathrooms exceptionally quiet even though on the main road with traffic lights outside and a clocktower next door which is silenced at night.

Car parking is easy a couple of minutes away use the app to pay and you wont need to get up to go and put a ticket on.

My only critisism would be the shower pressure which is pathetic and unnecessary with shower head and pump boosters being readily available.

All in all a good stay.
