Malston Mill farm exceeded expectations. We have 3 teenagers, all with different interests and this place covered them all. I would highly recommend Malston mill to anybody looking to entertain a growing family. We have had the most amazing stay and the hosts are a wonderful couple. Thank you very much

Malston Mill

A stunning place in a beautiful setting.  Perfect for a total relaxing and chilled break.  Lovely traditional cottages with everything you could need - including four poster beds and logs fires . Also  with great facilities for everyone having  indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, games rooms, tennis . A lovely fishing lake too just for use by people staying there.  A hidden treasure for getting away from everything.  Perfect hosts too 💕

Perfect relaxation in a stunning setting

Stayed for a week in Mill Cottage a charming former mill building still retaining some of the original features. Lovely location overlooking the fishing lake. Accommodation excellent. The children loved the great indoor heated pool and also the very nice outdoor pool and hot tub (on the warmer days!). Plenty for the kids to do with zip wire, tree house, tennis court and indoor games area. Lovely grounds for walks around the lake (and fishing if you want) Many thanks to Linda who was on hand to make sure our stay was perfect.

Idyllic secluded lake side location

Second visit to this amazing gem. Already booked for next year and we haven’t even left!
Just so relaxing, fabulous pool(s) and facilities.
Accommodation is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need.
Lots of wonderful memories made.

Difficult to choose anywhere else to stay! Love it!

Once again Linda and Tony made our stay a memorable one, everything you need is provided, the cottage and grounds are spot on,the fish were biting,one of the guests I was talking to said it's the only place I've visited that's actually better than the advertising and i totally agree. Thanks Linda and Tony.

Malston mill

We have just returned from a fabulous week to Malston Mill. A big thank you to Linda and Tony for letting us share their wonderful home for a week. 
Our cottage was spotlessly clean, Linda thinks of everything even down to providing plastic wine glass to use round the pool. We were very lucky to have two days wonderful sunshine and made use os the sun-loungers by the pool. The tennis court was fab the lake is just so picturesque there are Carp in the lake we saw plenty on the surface. The gardens are really pretty with flowers still in full bloom. 
Tony and Linda work so hard keeping this place just perfect.

We managed to visit and stay at Malston in-between the two lock downs last year due to us not being able to travel overseas.  We found the place to be amazing and of the highest quality with beautiful gardens and lovely hosts.  even though the weather wasnt kind to us there was plenty to keep us occupied and the indoor pool is amazing.  We enjoyed it so much we have just booked again for October.

I find it strange that someone thinks the accommodation was dated and basic - the cottages have everything you need and more, the furniture is all in keeping with the ambiance of the cottages and all in an excellent condition and of a high quality.   I cannot comment on the fishing as we are not fishing people but we did witness anglers catching very large fish and the photos on their Facebook page back this up!   Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent Quality Accommodation and Grounds

Just returned from our second visit to Malston Mill.  We love having everything available on site - in the fabulous grounds and gardens.  We enjoyed swimming in both pools (indoors or outside).  The indoor swimming pool is especially nice.  The additional facilities such as tennis or table tennis, hot tub, fishing in the lake etc. mean that you don't need to leave the site to keep active.    We managed to get quite a few of the carp out of the lake, with a lot of fish showing in the upper layers basking in the sunshine.  For the occasional angler some float-fished sweetcorn will get roach and rudd with wild brown trout sometimes taking the bait. Highlight of the week for me was when the resident kingfisher perched on my fishing rod right in front of me.

Great trip for the family

Back from another fab family trip- husband and son fished each day and caught carp which is always a reason to celebrate. 

We visit every year for our family reset and love the warm welcome from Toby and Linda our cosy cottage and the gorgeous countryside that Malston Mill sits in. 

Could not recommend this place more for a family retreat with swimming tennis and fishing- something for all the family!

Wonderful fishing family trip

We’ve just returned from a week at this amazing property, 6 of us with 4 young adults - everything is just lovely! - the setting, the surroundings, the facilities, the hosts! Who couldn’t be more helpful. We were lucky enough to ha e the facilities more or less to ourselves, as all the other guests spent a lot of time on the beautiful lake. We were fortunate with the weather and made the most of the outdoor communal eating area, alongside the immaculate outdoor, well sized pool. Would happily return, and highly recommend !
