Our first visit to this guest house and it was an excellent choice.  We stayed in room 4 which was spacious and spotless, comfortable and clean, the room included a small fridge and two lounge chairs.  The hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming and are dedicated to ensuring that your stay is pleasant and enjoyable.  There is ample parking at this guest house and there are plenty of options for breakfast: cereals, fruit, yoghurts, pastries, boiled eggs are in addition to the cooked breakfast menu options.  There is particular attention given to cleanliness, tables are cleaned with antibacterial spray after use and there are hand sanitizer stations on entry to the property and the dining room.  Guests are asked to observe the 'quiet time' between 10pm and 8am and guests occupying upstairs bedrooms are asked to be mindful of other guests in the rooms below.  A very convenient location for Inverness city centre which is only a 1 mile easy walk.

Highly recommended!

Comfortable, clean and cozy accommodation.  Comfortable mattress and quality linens. Thoughtful touches such as face cloth for removing makeup, Alexa Dot for streaming music, mini fridge, eyemask if you need one, USB tower for charging multiple devices. Large room, ample closet space, bathroom stocked with quality toiletries. Hot breakfast cooked to order. 
Walk to city center in 20 minutes. Choose the river route for a scenic stroll and cross the walking bridge for a look at the other side. 
Kind and friendly hosts Val and Paul reside on site and are respectful of your privacy. This is one of the best B&B stays I’ve experienced.

Cozy comfort.

The Avalon was so clean and the host were very friendly, we were a 15/20 min  walk to main shopping Breakfast was great lots to choose from cereal or cooked meals for breakfast . Off street parking would recommend highly

I would highly recommend this B&B, everything about our stay was spot on from arrival to departure.

Very spacious room, very clean and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and very tasty. 

The welcome we had was second to none , we can't speak highly enough of our stay. If in Inverness this has to be the place to stay👍



What a great B&B

Beautiful guest house, which is a short walk from the centre of Inverness.
The rooms are spotless, with all the facilities you require. Very comfy beds.

JUST PERFECT 

We spent 2nights here in April 2023. A fantastic guesthouse which is modern and very well furnished with tasteful touches throughout. The hosts Val and Paul engaged, at just the right level,  with all guests. Their service was excellent (anyone who gets up at 0430 to make breakfast for their cycling guests deserves praise). Good location, only 15 minute stroll into centre. (Go down to the riverside and walk in that way). There is very ample car parking on site. Highly recommended and we will return.

Fantastic guesthouse.

location is very good for traveling to fort william, ullapool, or to inverness city centre, biggest parking area i've seen @ any guest house period. this is my second visit this year to avalon, i had the same room as previous visit the small double @ the front of  this large modern house, room is beautifully decorated with a generous sized spotlessly clean bathroom, bed is super comfy, & you have a mini fridge!! val & paul obviously take pride in there guest house & it certainly shows from the moment you walk in the front door, forgot to mention dining area & breafast are exellent!! this for me is 5* luxury @ 3* prices .

The Avalon guest house was a great place to stay in Inverness.  It is an easy walk to the river and to the shops and restaurants.  Val and Paul were so welcoming and helpful with recommendations.  Breakfast was delicious.  Lots of parking available.

Amazing stay in Inverness

We had a lovely 2 night day with Val and Paul who are great,friendly hosts.A beautiful,immaculately clean guest house with lots of parking,gorgeous room,excellent breakfast with lots of choice,would highly  recommend if visiting Inverness!

Beautiful room!

Guest house felt like home. Lots of nice touches in the room and also in the hall and lounge area. Bed was v comfortable. Good quality toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was really good. As I was going on day tours before breakfast was served on most days, I was given a cold breakfast and a smoked salmon bagel in the fridge in my room the night before which was much appreciated.  It takes 20 to 25 minutes to walk into town from the property.
