Booked this for a 2 night weekend break. The welcome when checking in was warm and friendly. The room was furnished well and warm and cosy. The view from the window was Beautiful- looking directly over the River Deben - boats, old mill etc.Great extras in room - lovely cookies, hot chocolate and bottled water - all replenished every day.
Breakfast was in the café downstairs. Great selection and the full English was v tasty.
I would really recommend this guest house!

Unique guest house with great view

We stayed here for a couple of nights in February.  A lovely b&b with a cafe below where the breakfast is served. Very friendly staff, nice breakfasts and lots of very cheap parking. The room itself was nice, clean and comfortable with views out over the river.  We really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect for a short break

Just returned from an excellent stay in Woodbridge at the Station guest house. 
Actually staying on the station in the quirky building was fun with superb views of the water, the boats and the seabirds. Unaware of train noise. 
The room was comfortable and well equipped with a good bed and plentiful towels. Tea and coffee making facilities and even shower gel dispenser provided. 
Carla was very efficient and friendly. 
Breakfast was fresh and well cooked. 
We would definitely stay here again. 
Parking £4 a full day. Walking distance to Tide mill, the Market Hill and numerous restaurants, pubs and cafes. 
Recommend Ramsholt arms a short drive for wonderful views and good food.

A lovely stay in Woodbridge

Absolutely Fabulous Guest House large room, great view, and the lady in charge Carla has been wonderful even sorting out for our parking to help. Would highly recommend, lots of restaurants in a quaint little town. We went for an Indian next to the Anchor pub which is a cross the road and it was wonderful and also you can pop in to see Sutton ho

Fabulous little guest house with excellent service

As previous reviewer state, a Character property with everything you could need. Clean and welcoming. Carla is super friendly and helpful. 
We stayed in the triple room, Great view and plenty of space. Tea making facilities, hair dryer etc. A minuscule walk to pubs and the town, the mill and beautiful river walk. For a one night escape away from the bustle of our real lives, this was a little step back in time. Thank you.

Highly recommend this character stay in exactly the right position  on the edge of the river and town.

We checked out this morning from another lovely stay. We first stayed here nearly 12 years ago and whilst it’s had some improvements it still has its charm. Our room was very clean with views over the river. The bathrooms are small but perfectly useable. Breakfast was very filling and served with a smile. I have coeliac disease and they were happy to sort my breakfast out. We felt very safe with covid as hand sanitiser everywhere and the staff wore visors. Perfectly located in Woodbridge, able to walk back after a meal out is a great bonus.

Another great stay

We had a brilliant stay at the Station Guest House.  We stayed in twin room which was very comfortable .  The view from our window was beautiful looking out over the river.  The shower in our room was one of the best . All the staff were very friendly and helpful .  The food is fantastic.  You must have the breakfast it is one of the best . 
This place is well worth a visit .  We are definitely going to return .  
Well done to Carla , hubby ( sorry don’t know name ) and her team . 10/10 from us.

Great place

Stumbled across this place when looking for a last minute night away and so glad I did! Wonderful place, room clean, pretty colours, more than comfortable and well equipped. What a natty little place! Lovely views over river and station! Staff excellent and welcoming, cafe attached brill (separate review) whistlestop cafe, pub opposite and superb Indian anout100 Yard’s away. We will be back!

Little Gem!

We stay here for a few days every December . Lovely large room overlooking the station & the estuary - it’s not at all noisy - more relaxing, fabulous breakfasts in the attached Whistlestop Cafe, incredibly friendly owners - they ensure that the food is all gluten free for my coeliac partner - and great location near town & local walking & attractions. Can’t recommend highly enough - it’s one of our favourite places .  

Fabulous accommodation

We stayed for three nights and enjoyed our stay very much - helped by the fantastic weather even in early October. We'd originally booked 2 nights but decided a few weeks later to add a third night and they were very accommodating (literally!). The staff were very good and a credit to the business. Breakfasts were very tasty and served with a smile. Superb view over the river from our room. Brilliant shower too. 

You have to pay for car parking in the adjacent pay & display, but at £3 for 24 hours it's very reasonable. Even so, I wonder if they have thought of doing a deal with the taxi firm which uses the station forecourt so they could have parking right outside? As this is an old building it has quite steep stairs which might be relevant to some potential guests. 

I can offer one piece of constructive criticism/advice - the room we had (4) overlooking the station and river gives a great view, but the lights on the station footbridge are *very* bright, as I can see they need to be for passenger safety. A blackout blind in the room would be a good idea - or wear one of those eyemasks they give you on long airline flights?
