We stayed one night doing St Cuthbert's Way, the host was helpful, we had an early excellent breakfast. Everything done well. Airenlea is within walking distance of the town centre with several restaurants & shops.

Just how a good B&B should be

Run as a tight ship by very efficient and well organised landlady, this was an excellent first stop on St Cuthberts Way. Walkers' needs well understood and catered for.  The B&B was spotlessly clean and bedrooms small but comfortable well decorated with good bathrooms.  Breakfast was very tasty and landlady very helpful organising taxi with friendly Jim, taxi driver.  Very good experience and value for money.

Warm efficient helpful welcome in smart lovely house

A gem of a B&B located in Jedburgh and perfect for our stop off on route to complete the NC500. 

Amanda was the perfect host and couldn’t do enough for us. She even gave us a great tip on using the A7 for the next stage of our journey which was well worth it. 

Breakfast was substantial and the perfect setting for our first trip back to our homeland after a few years break. The pictures of the dining room and the breakfast plate say it all. 

I wasn’t aware of how much commission booking.com charge and therefore next time I will book direct. 

Amanda’s husband (apologies I can’t remember his name) was also a great host and with a shared interest of bikes was great to converse with. 

My only criticism was that it would have been great to have a beer in the outside area overlooking Jedburgh on our arrival but they don’t offer this service and we arrived too late to visit the shops. Maybe next time I will bing a wee carry out to enjoy the outdoor garden ambience a bit more. 

Fully recommended to anyone visiting Jedburgh or passing through on route North or South.

A great stop off on route to Inverness.

We stayed here for three nights whilst exploring the local area and were very glad we chose Airenlea. Amanda took all the covid related precautions very seriously and explained exactly how everything had been cleaned and what was expected of us. All very re-assuring and made for a relaxed stay.
Our room was spacious and well appointed with a nice view over Jedburgh from the front window. My wife used to run a cleaning business and noted how spotless everything was with no detail missed.
Our breakfast each day was freshly made and we just had to order before 9pm the previous day via text which is a great system. I particularly liked the porridge and Amanda provided us with vege sausages which was much appreciated.
We will be heading to Scotland again and when we do Airenlea will be our number one choice when in this area.

Very high quality B and B.

We booked a two night stay for five of us on motorcycles. Very friendly hosts Amanda and Chris. Accommodation was lovely and very comfortable - good quality furniture in the rooms and the public areas.
Breakfast is pre-ordered by 9pm the evening before by texting choice - a great idea and obviously convenient. Amanda limits the attendance at breakfast to four to observe Covid-19 measures - we just split into a group of three and two.
Chris Is a fellow motorcyclist and was kind enough to suggest a route for our local day ride out - there were some fantastic roads and great views (before the late afternoon downpour).
Plenty of off road parking for our five bikes.
Highly recommended B&B.

Excellent Stay

We stayed at Airenlea a number of times when we had family living very close to Jedburgh. The family have now relocated to the other side of Kelso but Amanda and Chris are always our first call when we are visiting again.
When I say it's home from home it is due to the friendly welcome always extended to us and but I should add that Amanda's breakfasts are far better!
If Chris was local to us I would ask him to completely refit our bathroom at home to the standard we enjoy at Airenlea and then I'd visit our bank manager for a loan!

Home from home

We had a great night in Jedburgh thanks to the Airenlea B&B. Once we arrived the owner took the time to explain the many restaurant options for dinner and the best and easiest way to walk there.  The room was clean and well maintained and beds comfort table. The Scottish breakfast the following morning was on time and well presented.  The B&B also has home grown apples that were delicious.

Overnight in Jedburgh

Just checked out this morning. Wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was perfect and set the standard for all our coming accommodations to live up to.
Our hosts went above and beyond. The breakfasts were exceptional and our room was so hard to leave.
Amanda recommended a variety of restaurants that were within walking distance and none disappointed. Highly recommend Airenlea B and B.

Just perfect

This bed & breakfast's hosts in Jedburgh strive for perfection in all matters of hospitality. The highlights are friendliness, interior design and the breakfast, which is served in an almost regal feeling surrounding. 
Go for it.                                      

Friendly, topnotch B&B.

Great host. Large bathroom across the hall if you are in room 2. I think it was bigger than our double room. Bathrobes provided. Clean and comfortable bedroom. Vegetarian breakfast available. 
Wifi included. 
No takeaway allowed in the rooms so bedrooms smell clean and fresh. 
Parking available on site or free street parking.
Would recommend and stay again.
