If you want to live an unforgettable experience this is the right place! Paul and Viri are very welcoming, polite and nice. The place is quiet, really near to the centre. The room is really clean, cozy and tidy. Breakfast has a very broad range of possibilities, suitable for any kind of traveller. Food is mostly homemade (very yummy, by the way!). We had a lovely  stay, speriamo di tornarci presto!

A piece of heaven

Myself and my partner just got back after a weekend stay at Damson Lodge. Paul and Viri were wonderful hosts, incredibly helpful, and recommended some good routes/cafes and always made time to make sure everything was perfect.
The breakfast were incredible, especially the banana and cinnamon pancakes!
The B&B is in a great location 5minutes walk to the shops and around 10-15 minute walk to the Lake.
Overall a perfect stay. 

Great hosts, great location, great breakfast. 

This was our second time staying here and it was just as good as the first. The location is perfect- just a short 5 minute slow walk to the high street. The room was comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean. The highlights of this place are definitely the friendly, knowledgeable owners who helped us with ideas for walks and other activities and the fantastic breakfast. As a vegetarian it was lovely that they not only catered for me but also made sure one of the day's breakfast specials was suitable for me. We will definitely be back again soon.

A little gem with the best breakfasts.

The bed and breakfast is a 5 minute walk from the centre of Keswick so just far enough for free on street parking.  We had room 2 which was clean and tidy but a little bit on the small side for a couple who had a few bags but the homemade shortbread waiting for us quickly made us forget that.  The breakfast was exceptional with all local sourced products and homemade bread and baked beans.  Paul and Viri who own the B&B are a wonderful couple who will go out of their way to help and give you information.  I have been before, but that was around 10 years ago but when I am next in Keswick this will be my first option to book a room again.

A lovely stay and a fab breakfast

Just had a few days with my husband at Damson Lodge. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Keswick. We have stayed in quite a few B&Bs and can honestly say that this was the best. The room was clean (and kept clean and serviced throughout our stay!), the breakfasts were outstanding, with a different "special" every morning to choose so you can have something truly delicious and different everyday. There were home made pancakes with different competes, yoghurt, maple syrup etc,, smoked salmon and scrambled egg, poached egg and avocado (which I have never had before but was absolutely gorgeous). We also had the traditional full English vegetarian option which was the best I have had. We could not praise Viri and Paul highly enough. they were always helpful, without being obtrusive. They gave us some excellent advice on where to go and how to get there. We wanted to see red squirrels whilst in the area, and see them we did! We had a super time and if we are visiting the area in the future, would certainly stay there again. If you are looking for a small and extremely welcoming place to stay, 5 minutes walk from Keswick town centre, this is it.
