All needs met, friendly staff, great range of rooms.
Would recommend a stay if it be a business trip or a romantic night in with the other half, they cater for all needs, thank you to all the staff that made me feel at home.

I have lived in Irwell Chambers for over 2 years , I re-located to the area and wanted to be close to the city centre.
The location is perfect and looking at the reviews many agree but then some reviews complain of noise ! Well if you want to be in the city expect some noise but over the past two years i have not had any issues with excessive noise at all and i am here every day/night.
I have had no issues with any other tenants and always felt safe and secure in my time at Irwell Chambers.
In fact i have made many of friends due to living here that have made me feel welcome to the city which has made me settle into the community. 

The building has just gone through a complete renovation project ,major refurbishment and improvements to the building internally and  new apartments built to a very high standard.

Also looking at the other older reviews these are based on short weekend stays which this part of the building was sub-let to a company that no longer have this agreement due to the issues they caused.
The current management team have taken this part of the building back and dissolved all these issues.

If your looking for modern/clean and safe environment close to the city centre this is the place -safe-friendly and even a bigger bonus very competitive long term rental value for money !

Great location -Value for money -Tenant over 2 years

I have stayed here many times. Always friendly always helpful and great at communicating. I do a lot of work in Liverpool and the two nights for the price of one night deals are outstanding value for money. Apartments are clean and tidy with decent WiFi signal.   Top Tip: Book on the L3 Living website for the best deals. 
The only down side is car parking is expensive. I found the NCP car parks extortionately priced, so please avoid. The cheapest car park and close to the apartments are Capitol Building, you have to book online through secure parking. I will be back again.

Two for One Room Rates - What a Winner !!

When we arrived we had a problem with the door, we couldn't lock it and we wanted to go out. We had to wait for 2 hours for the responsible person, Steve, a guy that didn't show any respect or disposal to help us. This hotel doesn't have a reception so we had to call him several times until he got there.

Good hotel, bad staff

We rented for one week these apartments but only stayed 2 days, it was very odd as this guy was standing down trying to look inside our window, he even came up and knocked at our door after 1hour , I was too scared to open as my boyfriend was out at the shops. We later found out from the couple staying next to us that he was actually the owner of Irwell Chambers :))) what in the hell?! He was looking to see if people smoke inside/ very strange and unprofessional. The staff from L3 living are usually nice people, but at Irwell Chambers things don’t look too nice, plus there are builders working most of the time so don’t expect any good sleep. Also fire alarm was constantly ringing every morning. Just strange, won’t bother with them anymore.

Weird

If you like being woken up around 04:30 every morning by what sounds like 100 seagulls having a karaoke party, then this is the place for you. I’m here for work and I’m shattered because I’ve not been able to get a decent sleep since I arrived. 

The apartment is ok. The photos make it look better than it is. Tired and damaged furnishings. The bed feels old as there is a dip in the middle. I don’t think the cleaners do a very good job. The kitchen floor is filthy and everything needs a proper clean. 

There is no hairdryer and the people running the apartments don’t have one you can borrow. I had to go and buy one. I’ve stayed in lots of places - hotels and apartments and there has ALWAYS been a hairdryer. 

Only positives - very close to where I’m working and very good Italian at the top of the road. 

Don’t expect a decent sleep

Check in was a phone call and being told that the door was open and keys on the table with no explanation of how to get in the main front door other than to wait and somebody be out. We thought that meant someone from the hotel staff but no, it was just wait for someone, anyone to come out. and the end of the phone call was "don't lose the key or you're on your own and laugh" and hang up.
Apartment itself was alright. Windows absolutely filthy but it had two bed rooms, decent size and living area was fine. Location is decent too, pretty central although the immediate surroundings aren't the best. 
Look, if you want somewhere to lay your head down  and aren't spending too much time in your accommodation and you're not looking for fancy, then its fine. But if you want anything in anyway nice or comfortable or to be impressed, this is not the place.

Very Very Poor

The management team at this place at absolutely awful. Little hitlers who are on some sort of power trip. She speas to you like your a little kid, I dont know who she thinks she is, stay away from this place you have been warned I have stayed here 37 times in 9 months, a lot of the times for at least a week, probably spending over £5,000. Last time I stayed they took payment for the room on my card and then when I arrived demanded £200 cash as a deposit, not card payment it had to be cash as they said the room was not left clean last time I stayed.I reluctantly agreed to this and then checked out and my deposit was returned. Last weekend I was attending a funeral a booked a room last minute in an emergency, I checked in the room and then two hours later a guy knocks on the door and says unless I give him £200 I have to leave, I had no other money and nowhere else to stay, they had took the money for the room off my card and they made me leave. This was 5 days ago and I still have not had the money back for the room. Honestly guys there are far better options in Liverpool, do not stay in this place, the management team are absolutely appalling.

Do not stay here

Really would not recommend even though the rate is very cheap which is obviously to reflect the condition. Pay the extra to stay somewhere with at least the basic comforts. Took a number of phone calls to find out how to check in. Eventually told the room number and that door would be open and that the keys would be on the coffee table.

Staying here due to work so moving is not an option otherwise would have checked out immediately on arrival. It is so uninviting, trudging through puddles to get to the apartment and this is once you have entered the building. A lot of building work taking place all around.

TV aerial mustn't exist as unable to pick up any channels. WiFi not the most reliable.
No hot water at all apart from an electric shower which is either too hot or too cold no in between and having to boil a kettle to wash dishes.
The mattresses have seen better days as the feeling of springs digging into you all night does not lend its self to a decent sleep.

The only positive is the location. Very close to a Tesco express, Sainsburys local, Greggs and not too far from Liverpool One and Albert dock.

As stated at the start of this review the rate is very cheap but even taking that into account I would not stay here again. I would rather pay a bit more and stay some where else.

Never again

With no one there to check me in, I had to do it over the phone. Was told my room number, that the door was open and the keys would be on the table. Not a great start! When I DID get into the building (courtesy of one of the long term tenants) I was disappointed to find that the apartment was in the basement. There was very little natural daylight, which meant that the lights had to be on at any time of the day. The TV, though working, was receiving no signal. People working on the roof had probably messed up the aerial, I was told. Someone would come to see to it. No one did. Wasn't a problem at first, since I could connect to TV through my laptop, but then the WIFI failed! I had planned to stay here 7 nights, but after 5 nights without TV, and with little natural light, I booked into a nearby hotel for the final 2 nights, only returning to Irwell Chambers when I needed to use the kitchen. A VERY disappointing stay, I will not return here and cannot recommend it!
