Extremely tiny room with no natural light. Small bed where Someone taller than 6.1 cannot fully stretch its legs. Carpet need strong brush up. When I asked info why the room was so small and with no natural light, I was told what sounded a pre-recorded explanation - also found in some other reviews here - ie that the square metres were clearly indicated in the room description….first of all, the fact the room description clearly shows the number of feet doesn’t help. What is really important that the hotel management carefully assess whether such a room can be sold or not to guests. The answer there is no.  The lack of natural light makes impossible to work there on top of the small table. If the bed is not fit for taller people, that should be clearly indicated, which is not the case. Essentially the hotel on top of some brush up needed, should carefully reassess the single rooms put on offer and take out those which are too small (guess almost all of them) or with too small beds because of the severe room space limitations  where on top of it,  there is no natural light.

Too small room with no natural light and dated carpet

We booked a this flat thru booking.com and were disappointed with the outcome.
The confirmation was for a third floor flat, but we were given a fifth floor flat with no lift. We asked for two set of keys and were given one. The flat was rundown and the thermostat wasn’t working.
The apartment was managed by Flying Butler, more like flying fish...
An experience never to be repeated.

this was the most terrifying horrible experience I have ever had in my life. one whole day of waiting to get the keys, no porter, no reception and no one answers the emergency number on the website. After hundreds of calls some weird guy answers and says that he will send us someone to handle the keys but no one comes. accidently, we saw a lady who said that she was cleaning another building (donno how she got to that building) she gave us the keys for one bedroom app. because the two bedroom app. we booked does not have a lock on the door. the apartment was dirty , filthy, sheets had germs caused allergy for us. no daily cleaning, no porter, no elevator, nnnothing from what they claimed on their website.even WIFI, no wifi although you see a cable when you step in but its not working. we paid for two bedroom and got one bedroom. no refund. the only thing that worked was the quick system they had to take your money from your credit card when booking. Thats ittt. awful people, awful place ( don’t be fooled with the pictures) and awful experience.

Don't even think about Booking it

We arrived only to be told that the room we'd booked and paid for had got the decorators in and as such we were unable to stay! The housekeeper, who spoke almost no English, said there was another room in the basement, but for a family of five this was very unsuitable When we protested she became very upset and asked us to phone her boss.He is still yet to answer the phone or reply to any of my messages two days on!
Draycotts knowingly took our booking and our money when it was clear we had no room to stay in. We had little choice than to take the basement room and speak to management later in the day. However we were and still are completely unable to get any response from a Draycotts. We paid for an apartment with separate rooms, but got a double bed, a sofa and two chairs......no communication what so ever. The building was completely deserted in the morning.
I've never left a review for anything in my life, but I feel so strongly about this place. IT should be closed down and the owners taken to court.

Awful! A Terrible Experience

Stayed here new years eve really worried after reading reviews. Took a while to find as looks like any other street. When we arrived a forign lady answered the door and looked at us blankly when i said we have a room booked she just Rudely said wait and walked off when she came back she was saying different names off a photo taken on her iPhone of what I could see as a scrap of paper with names on said a few different names which weren't mine after saying the name it was booked in a few times. A older lady just said "check out is at 11" not friendly at All and they both just walked off. Got in room not what I expected from pics. TINY bed not a double. No bath robes. iPod dock station plug broken. All the bathroom floor cracked, NO PROPER HEATING just a electric plug in. Out the Back door was disgusting rubbish and trollies there not what it looks like from pics at all. On check out which for the price I thought was way to early there was no one around so had to just leave key on desk. Not worth the money. WOULD STAY IN A TRAVELLODGE OVER THIS PLACE ANYDAY!

wouldn't come back not worth money

We were really worried after reading other reviews but were very happily surprised by what we found.  We were a group of 5 ladies in the family suite with patio in the basement (apt 7).
The room was very big and could have in fact slept 6 people. Lovely bedding all very clean, a massive TV, the kitchenette was excellent with a full cooker, microwave, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Lovely big bathroom with shower with plenty of hot water.
Yes there were bits that weren't perfect such as marks on the ceiling where there had been a leak, 4 forks rather than enough for 5, no welcome packs but you get what you paid for.  We paid about £380 for 2 night between 5 of us in Chelsea.  Communication from Kaz was excellent - any queries he had i contacted him by phone and he replied straight away.
The location was great, just 2 mins walk from Kings Road with all the shops and then about a 5 mins walk to Sloan Square tube station.
We would return!
