Very unnaccomadating and rude stuff. For the price paid you are better off spending a small bit more to get something a lot better. Fligts cancelled due to bad weather and advance notice was given to the hotel of this fact. However they still refused to even offer a date modification to accomadate for this problem. Really dissappointed with this hotel.

Awful Hotel

I had a friendly welcome from reception stuff and found the room small but clean, comfortable and best of all QUIET!  Perfect for a night or two.  I have stayed at lots of hotels in this area, and this one is the best so far.

One of the better budget hotels around King's Cross

It was kind of what we expected as having stayed in London previously we knew if you want a decent room with decent facilities you have to pay for it and we really only needed a bed for the night. The room was tiny with not much room around the bed and a tiny shower/toilet room off of it. The shower/toilet room was so cramped that I could not sit on the toilet with my knees straight in front of me because it was so close to the sink. The ceiling light in the bedroom for some reason had a bright green LED light on the side of it which for some reason stayed on after the light was switched off - we didn't know the purpose of it or how to switch it off and it was very distracting when you were trying to get to sleep.
The receptionist didn't seem to know the layout of the hotel as when we booked in she gave us a room number and then took us in the wrong direction.
Okay those were the negatives - on the plus side the bed was comfortable and the room was warm and we only paid £67.50 for it so not that bad really. We had been to a concert and had a few drinks and didn't want to travel home afterwards. Also you could park for free from 6:30pm to 8:30am in the roads outside the hotel which considering it was London was a bonus.

Very basic - a bed for the night

A very clean tidy room, close to kings cross train station, I had a quiet room at the back of the hotel, the rooms are small but fine for short stays, there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
I would definitely stay here again. 

One nights stay

We had a 7am  Eurostar train and so this hotel fitted the bill, it was only a 5-6 min flat walk to check in. The hotel is also in a very quiet location. It is also very close to Kings Cross underground, which is like only 10-15 mins from Leicester square and the like. So it is handily placed and we got a rate for less than £100, pretty good value. There is quite a bit going for this hotel, but the size of the room was so prohibitively small that we would not book here again. We had been out to dinner and theatre and wanted to change our clothes around and swap things as we had a full day travelling the following day. We had to take it in turns to sort out bags out and then it was difficult to leave unobstructed floor space to get either to the shower or front door. I'm not sure if there is a lift in the hotel and so we carried bags up to our floor. So if you don't mind a squeeze (for 2) then there is absolutely no reason why you would not want to book here.

Very adequate but smallest room ever

I have stayed in much worse places in London and paid more. 2 minutes walk from St. Pancras and Kings Cross. The area used to be really iffy and you still need to be on your guard, but that is not the Angus's fault.
Reasonably sized rooms, I was in an extension at the back, the walls are a little thin but the other guests hit the hay early enough for it not to be a problem.
24 hour reception and you can leave a bag which costs a fortune at the stations so a definite bonus. Very nice guys on reception.

A Good Option

Room and shower very small but clean .Great location for railway stations and underground No lift so cases have to be carried up flights of stairs and no portering  service so was difficult for me to get luggage upstairs and had asked many weeks before for a ground floor room but wasn't available.

Great location

Very small rooms, however very modern with all the facilities you need. I am In kings cross for business and it did the job. I took off one star because there was a stain on the sheets. I would stay here again it was good value for money.
