Excellence service. Staff really chatty and cared about their guests. Easy to ask advice. Food great. Rooms very clean and comfy.luggage room was handy. Raglan was particularly helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Very close to station 

King cross royal scot

Had a stay organised for my Xmas present from my husband. The present combined a pre-theater meal, theater tickets and Hotel. Stayed for two nights, conveniently located and value for money. Comfortable, welcoming and value for money.

Hotel, Dinner and a Show

The location is great, breakfast was brilliant albeit a little pricey (but it is London so we expected this) and there was great choice for breakfast also. The hotel also stored our luggage for us on the Sunday so we didn't have to worry about this which was great.We were positioned in a room right next to a boiler room which had pressure pipes - there was an incredibly high pitched sound coming from this constantly which could be heard very clearly in our room. I had to ring the reception to ask them if anything could be done - they came up and said it was the way it was and that the sound would go off every time someone on that floor used the shower or toilet. They said they would move us the following night to a different room where we would be more comfortable. The next morning the member of staff on the reception had no notes from the previous night staff to inform them of our complaint or agreement. They said they could not change our room because they were fully booked. I personally suffer with migraines and the constant high pitched noise of it was incredibly uncomfortable and stopped myself or my partner from sleeping properly. We had to turn the TV up quite loud to attempt to drown out the sound - probably much to our neighbouring rooms dismay.

Weekend stay for a convention

Conveniently located short walk from tube stations. The reception staff, especially Remy, were very friendly and helpful on check-in. Room clean, quiet and well appointed for the relatively affordable rate. You can spend a lot more and get a lot less for your money this centrally in London. Travelodge is a brand you can trust here. 

Helpful reception staff

Absolutely disgusting hotel, a hostel would have been a better choice. We paid for a double, but whatever was in the cupboard next to the room was letting off a loud buzzing noise so we were moved into a room with twin beds: the room was FILTHY. the sink was cracked, there were hairs in the sink, the bath had rust in it, there was mould on the walls, the beds were uncomfortable, it was so noisy all throughout the night, people running around slamming doors, alarms going off. I thought it would be like a premier Inn but I wont make that mistake again. We did get a full refund, but what was meant to be a nice getaway was an absolute disaster.

Dirty, noisy it felt like a hostel

Stayed here twice before and although basic it does the job for one night...not this time...for some reason our beds were very uncomfortable...bathroom was left shabby...hairs left in the bath...only one lift working...breakfast...2 of the 3 coffee machines were out of order and the supply of food was not keeping up with demand...consequently people were queuing with empty plates until the next batch arrived when there was a mad rush...staff seemed uninterested when questioned about this problem...will look elsewhere next time

Somewhat of a let down

I stayed here for a quick overnight stay in London. The hotel was good value for money. Quick and easy book in and the room was clean and comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet which was an added bonus. Would definitely stay there again.

Good value, clean and comfortable

I wish to pass on my thanks and gratitude to all the staff I met and the many behind the scenes who are the unsung heroes of any hotel operation. I  had the privilege of speaking to one of the ladies in the cleaning squad (a very pleasant woman indeed, sorry that I did not get her name , but I thanked her and her colleagues for the high standards that  the rooms were kept in. 'She retorted that I was the first person to mention or compliment her in her time at the lodge.' Having done cleaning jobs myself, I understand this is a hard job with time constraints, often unrealistic, but people soldier through, I feel that their efforts should be trumpeted!'           On the reception was a extremely proficient and professional friendly lady called Andra (who is pregnant), she helped me order a taxi to the the West End as I had fallen asleep and was late for a last minute show, most kind indeed. I was only in The Royal Scot for one night as I had been in another part of the Travelodge Group  at Marylebone for the two previous nights, but I wished to extend my stay, but they were fully booked, so I had to move on. The staff there were of equal high standard and advised me on directions to Hyde Park where I went to explore and further directions to access The Royal Scot, therefor I wish to pass on plaudits to all staff in both establishments for making my short stay in the capital most enjoyable. Excellent Experience

Very friendly staff who go the extra mile. As a solo traveller you want to feel safe and comfortable and meet friendly staff who care about your stay. This Travelodge does that for me. I stay here often.
