A small quiet and comfortable hotel. Good reception. Nice room, very clean. Good facilities. Tea making facilities in my room. On my last visit I mentioned that a slip mat for the shower would be a nice addition and bigger towels. On this visit they had put these suggestions in place in all the rooms. I like the fact that they listen to their guests and take on board any recommendations. They clearly care about the visitors to their hotel. A nice touch, I missed breakfast but they kindly offered to make me some toast or a sandwich which I thought was rather kind.

Perfect home from home

Thank you for giving us a memorable stay & a perfect room, to celebrate my 32nd birthday. It was very kind to lay the Happy pillow, the room was a perfect size. Spacious cupboards and a lovely walk in hot tub with great lighting in the bathroom. My boyfriend hit jelly babies packet of sweets in the cupboard
We had a restful sleep great comfy big bed & I really adored the view from outside the door.
BREAKFAST was a great selections and well presented. Thank you for making it a memorable weekend for myself & Alex, Thank you also for allowing for my partner to decorate the room specially for me too.

Birthday Celebration/ Get Away.

A reasonably priced hotel  which is a convenient distance from Bromley town centre. I booked a room for one night and arrived early evening.  There was an issue with the radiator (Room 1)  that was faulty and could not be turned off.  I couldn't sleep in a warm room and advised I need to leave and requested a refund   Reception staff and the manager were polite and reasonable and provided an immediate 'no quibble' refund.

We stayed in the Glendevon as it was close to where we were celebrating NYE. Very glad we did. The lady who greeted us (the owner?(, was very welcoming and was at pains to also greet our son. The requests made ahead of time had also been sorted. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. If I had a minor problem it was that the double bed was somewhat narrow, but a minor quibble. 

Great value for money. 

Friendly welcome and nice room

We stayed here for a Saturday night when in the area visiting friends.  We arrived around 1.30pm and were greeted with a friendly staff member who checked us in efficiently and showed us to our room (14).  The room was spacious enough with a flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge.  It wasn't the most modern room in the world, but was fine and clean.  The bathroom had been updated and was nice and spacious with a big walk in shower.  There were some individual tubes of shower gel, shampoo etc which were handy.  We didn't spend a lot of time in the room as we were out and about visiting, but we had a good nights sleep on our return.  There was a fan in the room, which we didn't really need as we opened the window and got a bit of a breeze from that.  We didn't have breakfast as again we were meeting friends the following morning so checked out around 10.30am.  The staff member on in the morning was again friendly.  I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area as the price was fairly reasonable.

Nice and convenient for a quick stay

Me and my husband had an enjoyable stay at the Glendevon Hotel, the room (No. 15) was lovely, having tea making facilities was a bonus, the bed was very comfortable, very clean and tidy, we especially liked the big bathroom, the staff were very friendly, the location is very central to Bickley, Bromley, Petts Wood, Orpington.

Enjoyable

Stayed here following a family funeral last week, just needed somewhere to sleep really so weren't really expecting much!  Our room was nice and clean and a good size.  Excellent breakfast and the staff are all really lovely.  There was a bit of a problem with our booking through Booking.com but Simon and his team sorted it all out for us.  They were really helpful.  Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would stay here again if in the area.

Nice friendly hotel

This is not really a hotel, more of a B&B.

The lady who came to the door when we rang the bell was friendly enough but ultimately it is a strange sort of place which is really a detached house with extensions to make bedrooms.

Unfortunately not much else around that part of Bromley so it had to do.  Expensive for what it is.

Ok for Bed & Breakfast

After reading the reviews for this place we decided the price as we were on a budget was a suitable choice for this trip to Bournemouth. If you want somewhere cheap and cheerful just to put your head down and have a shower it’s not to bad, a little shabby but you can find the character if you look hard. Showers not very powerful but at leat hot. No mirror in the bathroom and no shaving light, also light cord switch half broken and no table lamp and decor and appearance you can forgive for the price we paid. Would stay again if we got similar price. 

As expected from reading the reviews but good for budget

It was basic. Room was reasonably fine. The reception on duty on arrival was good.

Nice green tea. So it has that going for it...

The service. Left a bad taste. Owner (we think she was) was very abrupt with my group.

And as a bride to be, added stress to an already hectic day. She was not very attentive to us in service, but fawned over the group of men who showed up after us. 

Definitely would not have added it to the hotels for our wedding, if we knew how rude service would be to us. Avoid brides to be in Bromley/Beckenham Kent areas
