Really beautifully appointed cottage in a quiet spot but close to all amenities, and a 10 minute walk to Mawgan Porth beach.
High quality furnishings, kitchen equipment and appliances.  A big plus is the eco credentials, well done Lucy & Darrell for creating a warm and inviting home from home with minimal environmental impact.  Trevone Cottage is far more spacious than the photos suggest.  Lovely, enclosed private garden, and dog friendly.  Perfectly suited to a family of 4 with teenage children.

Beautifully appointed eco cottage in perfect spot for beaches and walks.

Absolutely brilliant time. We stayed in the Harlyn cottage with our dog. It’s beautiful. Everything inside is top quality and the location is perfect. A 15 minute walk to Mawgan Porth beach. The beach and little harbour area is lovely, however be prepared for an uphill walk on the way back. Not easy after a meal and a few drinks!!  It’s worth the walk though to get back to the brilliant accommodation. If you like  a quality cottage, in a perfect location for walks or visiting other parts of Cornwall, Merlin Farm is a must. 

Beautiful Cottage

Beautifully appointed and spacious cottage with all mod cons, including velux  windows which close automatically when it rains.  This cottage has the best equipped kitchen of all the places we’ve stayed in during the last 4 years. The decor is stunning and the furniture in the lounge so comfortable I want to buy the same  for home!  The  view over the fields is fantastic and it’s an easy walk through the woods to the beach, bars and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back

Beautiful luxury holiday cottage near the beach

Trevone is a beautifully appointed, spotless, ENORMOUS, cottage. Only two of us staying but more than enough room for 4. The large sunny garden was also a bonus.

Excellent location for coast path enthusiasts as easy to catch a bus to starting/ end points from the road by the by the beach ( 10 min walk from cottage). Local bus service is fantastic. Treat yourself to a trip on the open top Atlantic Coasteer 😀

The stroll into St Mawgan to visit the Japanese Garden and the Falcon Inn (suitable for coeliacs) was lovely on a rest day.

A fantastic cottage to stay in. Enjoy.



Ideal base for coast path walking

We stayed in Harlyn Cottage for a sunny week in September. The cottage is very well equipped, with comfy beds, fluffy towels and crisp bedding. It feels very peaceful, yet the bustle of Mawgan Porth is only 20 minutes walk away. There was lovely attention to detail and great communication and an easy booking process. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Lucy and Darrel. 

Lovely week in Harlyn Cottage

We really enjoyed our third stay at Merlin Farm – it’s a beautiful place and the standard of accommodation is excellent. We love how the cottages are spacious and thoughtfully designed – they’re a lovely place to spend time as a family. Mawgan Porth beach is a five-minute drive and is perfect for young children, plus the local restaurants and shops are great. I fully expect we’ll visit again soon!

Lovely cottages in a beautiful location

We won a 3 night stay from a competition and it was amazing. It was so peaceful, so easy to get around and Lucy & Darrell made it so easy to find and communicated superbly throughout. The log fire was lovely and the beds and bedding were super comfortable. It’s a lot bigger than we expected too. Can’t thank them both enough!

Couldnt have enjoyed it more!

We had the absolute best time here, the cottage was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Everything you need is available, great hosts and we will absolutely be returning. Thanks so much again, fully recommend!!

Girls break

Merlin Farm is situation one a great location and is very comfortable to stay in. I often struggle with beds when away, but I found this one very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and the village centre is a short walk, with good eating options.

Beautiful holiday home in a peaceful location

We have been visiting Merlin Farm Cottages on many occasions over the last 10 years or so and have always found Lucy and Darryl helpful in every respect. The accommodation is always clean and tidy. The location can't be bettered.
