Staff were very accommodating, give us an early check in FOC, due to pool being shut.
Breakfast was delicious, and plentiful!
What was bad
On arrival we were told the pool was closed, even though the day before I had booked time slots. When returning later in the day, it was back open, we had changed plans because we couldn’t swim. Slightly frustrating. They did book us in later that day, so not a huge issue but not ideal. Unfortunately the pool was too cold

Yes location is central to the Liverpool Docks, the city centre itself is near to boutiques, department stores, a local supermarket, restaurants, the St John shopping centre is 5 minutes walk away. Novotel’s neighbour is Home Bargains.

Hotel is a short walk from the shops and Cavern Quarter.
Excellent buffet style breakfast, good choice and fresh.
Very nice,clean spacious room. The only downside was is was far too warm and the air con didn’t work.

The hotel staff were pleasant but nothing more than that. Warm room.
