Wonderful welcome. John and Susan couldn't do enough to make you comfortable. Ideal location for the town and the lake. Will definitely go back. Lovely cockerpoo called Ruby! 
As a bonus, John will valet park the car, and Susan's breakfast is delicious.

Perfect Guest House

John & Sue couldn’t be better hosts, a great welcome, even offered to park the car, the car park is in a safe location at the rear of their wonderful Victorian home. 
The rooms were clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was a lovely choice of cereals, porridge, fresh fruit and yoghurt, the cooked breakfast was fresh and well cooked, with choice of anything that a full English should be. I’ve been here a few times over the years and each time there is a warm welcome and great advice on activities in around Keswick and wider Lake District.

Wonderful Place to Stay

We stayed at Parkfield Guest House in September for 2 nights. We absolutely loved our stay here! Our room was lovely, extremely clean, spacious and had everything that we needed, including an amazing view of the mountains! The breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice, it was the perfect start to a day of walking! We couldn't have asked for a better location, it was only a short walk from the centre where all of the shops, pubs, restaurants etc were. John and Sue were fantastic hosts, they couldn't do enough for us and made our stay very enjoyable - thank you so much!!!

We highly recommend Parkfield Guest House to anyone visiting Keswick - we will definitely be returning.

Lovely Stay at Parkfield

We spent a very enjoyable week staying in this quality b & b. We were lucky to get our room as some US visitors had to cancel due to covid restrictions. John and Sue are consummate hosts in this excellent quiet but central location. John parked our car behind the house and offered to carry our cases up the stairs. We had a spacious room at the front of the house with a wonderful view of the mountains in the background past the small golf course.
The bed was large and the shower room big enough for our needs.
Breakfasts are generous and eaten in a dining room with those same views. The covid restrictions mean that you should book evening meals before you travel and John will give you a selection of the better places to eat. However if you can’t get an evening booking he will allow you to eat a takeaway in the breakfast room, a helpful offer!
We thoroughly recommend this guest house, great value for money as well.


Wonderful Stay

All the other reviewers have already said it - extremely comfortable room, spotlessly clean, plenty of hanging and storage space, great breakfast.  The house is very convenient for going down to the lake or to get into town.  Sue and John have all the Covid necessities in place and cannot do enough to help you in any way, including parking your car for you!  We were there for a week and would certainly recommend you stay here.

Perfect in every way!

The hosts John and Sue could run courses on how to manage a guesthouse.  Nothing is too much trouble.  Rooms are nicely done and the one we were in was a good size with a view of the fells.  A lovely breakfast, quickly served with wide choices sets you up for the day.  Location is ideal, a short stroll to town with plenty of pubs and restaurants. We also did a hike from the front door and the park and lake are a stones throw. An ideal base to explore the Lake District.

Pleasant stay at Parkfield

Couldn’t ask for anything more from this gorgeous B&B- super friendly, warm welcoming hosts, beautifully decorated, clean, spacious room and an outstanding breakfast! The B&B has its own car park and is also ideally situated being right next to the town and the lake. This is definitely where you should stay when visiting Keswick- thank you Sue and John, can’t wait to come back!

Love staying at Parkfield Guest House. Sue and John have done an amazing job to make sure guests are safe. Rooms are ‘fogged’ , hand sanitiser stations and John wears a shield and gloves when he serves breakfast. Brilliant breakfasts, super clean accommodation and the most likeable couple you could meet (and Ruby). See you next year Anne and Tony

My friend and I loved it here. The hosts were kind, helpful and friendly. The whole place was spotless. Would defiantly like to visit again. Great location near the town too and off road parking. The breakfast was amazing.
