We recently stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. The room was spotlessly clean. A constant supply of tea / coffee and biscuits were in the room. The breakfasts were superb. Mixing up your breakfast items not a problem. The owners and staff were the perfect hosts. I would return another day without hesitation.  The swimming pool was an added bonus and we luckily had hot weather too. A special treat was a free cream tea available anytime during your stay. We greatly enjoyed this. The bar was lovely too, including non alcoholic beer that I now have. Thankyou to everybody at Eastmount Hall Hotel for a superb holiday. 

Fantastic hotel

Even though we live in the island We visited for our wedding anniversary  just to have a couple of days away from the rest of the family (nice I know😂) 
Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect she  asked if we would like a cream tea we said we would have it later . Upon talking just in general as we said it was out wedding anniversary she advised where we could go that was nice to eat and told us about a few quite little pubs close by . We were shown to our room which was nice , the next morning we went down for breakfast and was shown to our table, and wow the choice fir breakfast was amazing anything from coffee tea fruit juice, cereal fruit , full English or just pick what you want the choice was great . 
We came back after being out for a pamper day and having dinner so thought we would just pop to the bar, again the lovely lady asked if we would then like our cream tea as we didn’t have them upon arrival . She even went to find the other half some  different jam as he can’t have strawberries, and wow that was amazing. Over all a really pleasant stay and we will be back

Anniversary get away

We were greeted by Jill on arrival with a lovely welcome, and were given a delicious cream tea and information about the area.
We had the honeymoon room which was beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was very good, and the staff remembered our order each day from the morning before.
Nothing too much trouble, everyone very warm and friendly, and we enjoyed the local area, comfy cosy lounge and pool table.
Would definitely recommend!

Having last been to the Isle of Wight over 30+ years ago, I decided to take my partner there to see what has changed and if the same sites are still as I remembered them. 
I looked for a hotel within a few minutes of the beach and found the Eastmount Hall Hotel in a fantastic spot.
Although it is listed as a 2 star hotel, the service you get is 5+ star.
The staff were totally amazing. Nothing was a problem for them and even the owner helped us out and introduced us to her new puppy!
Breakfast was great and the room we had was bigger than expected.
The pool was unfortunately closed but looked nice and well-kept.
The location is great for access to the beach by either the lift or by walking a little further down a road (buses are available) and the staff can give you directions to other locations.
We spoke to other people staying over and even they said that they thought the staff were amazing.
My partner and myself have decided that at some point next year we will be returning.

A much needed break.

Owners are very welcoming lovley room, even had a fan and hairdryer. Tea and coffee well stocked in the room. We couldn't find any faults. Breakfast was very nice. Out door heated pool, bring your own swimming towels. Bar open throughout the day and evening. We will definitely retun. highly recommend and close to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Great Hotel, plenty of parking. Close to beach. Lovely heated pool - bring your own towels! Spacious rooms with plenty of tea, coffee & milk pots but you can request fresh milk too.  Friendly efficient staff.  Super breakfast, fruit, cereals, toast, jam & marmalade, full English, choice of eggs, poached, scrambled or fried - delicious and filling. Fresh tea & coffee, orange, apple juice as much as you need.   staff couldn't do more for you.

Thank you Jill and Julian for another lovely stay. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more, the warmest welcome with a lovely afternoon tea on arrival, tasty high quality breakfast with lots of choice, rooms clean with comfy beds. Hotel is ina brilliant location in pretty Shanklin, within walking distance from the beach, bars and restaurants. Kids loved a dip in the swimming pool after a long day on the beach. Hopefully we will visit again next year xx

If you are looking for an ultra chic hotel please stay clear. This is a lovely clean family hotel with a great pool and atmosphere. Rooms are twee but perfectly serviceable and the staff... well Jill is a lovely Yorkshire lass... and she seems like a Jill of all trades asshe never stops... 

Breakfasts are good and they will not let you leave hungry.. would be  good if the did suppers though... just a thought.

Had my last dip... heading home but will be back

Fantastic friendly staff and bonus of a small pool for residents use
You have everything you need in the room to make you comfortable although tv is small and didnt get a very good reception although we only had it on for the news whilst getting ready

Lovely hotel

If you are looking for designer furniture/bathrooms and an uber-trendy boutique hotel then move on, this isn't for you! The Eastmount knows it's customers and focuses on what REALLY matters to most travellers. First off, it's scrupulously clean - absolutely everywhere. The rooms are traditionally decorated and whilst the furniture/decor might not be new, everything is well maintained, works properly and nothing looks old or tired. The carpets, bedding and thick towels are immaculate and have a quality feel. Beds are really comfortable and the rooms are airy and fresh smelling. 5* hygiene rating for food is not really surprising and the breakfast is generous and high quality - catering for a vegan was no problem either. The public rooms are spacious and nicely furnished with a reasonably priced and well stocked bar. The pleasant garden is very homely feeling and the heated swimming pool looked very clean. What really sets the hotel apart though is the incredible customer service - nothing is too much trouble and everyone really cares about making your stay perfect. Exceptionally good value as well, especially as our two single rooms (18& 19) both had double beds! Free cream tea (and vegan alternative) on arrival was a nice touch. Thanks for making it a very pleasant stay!
