We had a large family gathering here, for the second time. On the first occasion the weather was wonderful, and I wondered how it would be since the forecast was not so good. In fact, it was great! Running to the swimming pool in the wind and the rain was an experience, but worth it. Relaxing in the hot tubs last thing at night was wonderful. There are lots of walks around, we flew kites on the huge meadow and played games, and a good time was had by all.

We had the most wonderful stay at Wallops Wood - we were a party of 20 including 2 four year olds and 2 80 year olds and every age group in between.   The staff at Wallops Wood were so accommodating from start to finish - the houses and facilities were amazing - we would definitely like to come back

Amazing holiday experience - luxury in every way

I never usually write a review, but we had the absolute best time staying at Wallop Woods, we couldn't have asked for more!  Communications with Sue before we arrived was extremely efficient and so friendly. The cottage was beautiful and spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome basket full of goodies waiting for us when we arrived. Sue and Victoria also popped by once we had checked in to make sure everything was okay for us, as well as stopping by at check out. It was the perfect place for a relaxing break in the countryside.  We cannot recommend it enough and we will definitely be back. Thank you to all of the team for making our stay so enjoyable.

Above and beyond expectations

This was our second stay at Wallops Wood but this time it was just two of us rather than a huge group like last time. 
What can I say, this was just a fantastic place to spend a weekend and chill out. 
The accommodation was modern, impeccably clean and the underfloor heating is just lovely on a cold and rainy day. 
The pool complex is just amazing and you can see how much thought has gone into the whole design of the place. 

The welcome cake was just a super treat too :-)

Amazing Set Up

Spent the weekend with my family to celebrate my 70th birthday, staying at the Sicilian Lemon. What a beautiful house. Top quality furniture and fittings, including the outdoor furniture and jacuzzi! Spotlessly clean and your every need is catered for! Lovely big indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Great games room catering for all ages. Highly recommend this amazing retreat

Amazing Retreat

Our group had a lovely stay at Wallops Wood, for our fifth year in a row (not counting 2020 when we couldn't stay). 
As always, we had a lovely cottage with a very well-appointed kitchen, excellent hot tub and beautiful views.  The staff were super helpful as always.  We enjoyed the pool and the accessibility of the cottages.  We've already booked for next year!

Best holiday cottages

Just returned from a week staying in Sundew. Excellent accommodation and everything provided is top of the range. I needed to contact the office several times prior to our stay and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Ths staff on site were equally helpful and polite. Made a lot of use of the hot tub and the pool complex and the little honesty shop is a great idea. Hopefully return in the future.

Nice little hideaway

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Wallops Wood. The accommodation is lovely and so peaceful with amazing views, everything you need supplied plus lots of thoughtful extras, for example they put 2 electric fans in the cottage because the weather was hot! The welcome basket is very good with a delicious Victoria Sponge cake included which is just what you need after a long journey! Dogs are made extremely welcome too with their own welcome basket, biscuits, bowls, poo bags, tag and more.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful with lovely walks straight from the door, we particularly enjoyed the walk to Old Winchester Hill with great views from the top and lots of Red Kites flying around! 
Portsmouth Historic dockyard is only 30 minutes away and is a brilliant day out. I would thoroughly recommend Wallops Wood and will definitely like to return sometime.

Beautiful stay in gorgeous countryside!

We have just had the most amazing week in Portuguese Laurel at Grenville,Wallops Wood. Our party of 6 plus a little one have been blown away. The house was spotless and really beautifully appointed. The garden (maybe needed a bit of weeding!)and Hot Tub fabulous (i've never seen my husband tempted by a hot tub before!)The area was magnificent. The WW owners and staff were so helpful,and accommodating. The Pool and Play Barn were exemplary. (I'm running out of superlatives!) 
    All in all I would recommend to anyone and definitely return as there was so much to do and see and pubs to visit we didnt get round to it all.
   Can I add one little niggle. Please can you get some better loo seats. Seems a shame when eveything else is sooooo good.

Fabulous Family Fun!

We arrived at Scots Pine, Wallops Wood, on December 23rd, and stayed for a week. The cottage feels warm and welcoming with a Christmas tree and crackers provided. The whole place is spacious and beautifully clean. Very modern, which appealed to our children and their partners who are in their early twenties. The cottage is extremely well equipped. There is a lovely welcome pack of fresh bread, milk, juice, homemade cake, wine, and beer. Our dog was also very well looked after with treats, poo bags, blankets, a bed, and even a toy.
The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, we enjoyed country walks and using the hot tub. 
Whenever I have contacted Wallops Wood, I have always had a quick response. 
All in all, we had a very enjoyable family Christmas, thank you, we hope to come back again some day.
