We travelled almost 400 miles for our third visit,

 just 30 odd miles from Lands End  ( that's 18 kilometres for you Europeans )

Well what can I say, just one word ; P E R F E C T   !!!! 

We stayed in room 2, unfortunately no sign of the ghost but I did hear a few strange noises in the night, 

The owls hooting and my wife snoring ,

We booked last minute and what a great find it was. The place was beautiful a real home away from home. The owners Boo & Matt were so welcoming and attentive. The  breakfast was amazing. We can't wait to go back.

This was our second time of visiting and certainly won’t be our last. From the moment you arrive, Boo & Matt greet you and make you feel so welcome, usually with tea and delicious cake! This year’s lemon and rosemary cake was really tasty! 
You’re made to feel at home straight away and that’s what we love. 

At breakfast times, be prepared to dine like kings! Matt’s pancakes are to die for so you have to try one, two, three.....!!! 
It was lovely to spend the mornings talking to people and listening to their stories over the breakfast table. 

We have visited Hayle before (as children and as adults) so we knew the main areas to visit in Cornwall. However, Boo & Matt will often tell you places of interest and sit with you and explain places to see that we wouldn’t have otherwise thought about. Very informative and very much appreciated! 

Rooms are spotlessly clean and there are many areas of the B&B that are quirky and interesting! Many built by Matt himself! 

We absolutely love it at Bostrase. Over the years we have stayed at many B&Bs but have never felt the way we do about Boo & Matt’s place! As I said above, I’m sure we’ll continue to return in the years to come! 

We returned home relaxed and with great memories yet again!

Outstanding!

Spent three nights here and it couldn't have been better, our room was lovely and comfortable with an excellent shower. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice and nothing was to much trouble. Boo and Matt were great hosts and very knowledgeable about the area which was a big help. The B&B is ideally situated for exploring the area. We would most definitely re this as a top place to stay.

We had a great 3 night stay, brilliant hosts, great place to be based when doing all the things there are to do in amazing Cornwall !!after a busy day to return to the tranquility and friendliness of Boo and Mat.
We definitely want to return.

wonderful place to stay

We booked this place through booking.com for one night over a bank holiday. One night turned into 3 nights because of Boo and Matts welcome. The place is hidden among a farm but it was from home to home. We have travelled world wide and there are two places where we have felt at home, one is Boo and Matts B&B and the other was Oberoi hotel in Bangalore. Nothing was too much trouble the rooms were immaculate, superb bathrooms, all equipped with tea and coffee facilities and also included a fridge in the room. Ladies we also had hair dryer in the rooms. Boo and Matt offer facilities like a hotel 4 star hotel except there is no pool or gym but the room quality outweighs the other facilities. It is totally understandable why people return there time and time again and that is why it’s best kept secret. We used this as a base to travel to areas around but at the end of the day when we walked in through the door it felt so cosy and warm just like your own home.We had our own key and lights were kept on. We were late arriving on our first night but Boo and Matt waited for us and helped carry the luggage in. There are only 3 rooms available at the moment so booking early is advised. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Boo and Matt so glad we found this hidden gem. Jag, Vic and Chaz

Best kept secret

We have just returned from a 2 night stay after attending a wedding on Saturday and all i can say is fantastic. 
Boo and Matt are fantastic hosts.
The rooms and beds in particular are fantastically comfortable.
Matt's breakfast are fantastic with no excuse to come away hungry. 
We will definitely be back.

Wedding stay.

We found this absolute gem by accident 5 years ago and we got absolutely hooked (2 visits a year since then :-).
Boo and Matt are the most amazing and lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome. Boo is the heart and soul of Bostrase, nothing is too much to ask and she knows all the good places to visit. Matts cooked breakfast is fantastic, served at a big round table, so you get to meet and chat to everyone.
The house was completely rebuilt by Matt and Boo with love for detail, the beds are very comfy, the showers are great, the rooms are spotlessly clean.
So if you come to Cornwall, this is the place to stay - don‘t miss it!

We keep coming back again and again and again ...

A wonderful long weekend at Bostrase. We first visited a few years ago, but have been unable to get in on the past few times we’ve visited Cornwall.
Matt and Boo are amazing hosts. The warmth of their welcome and attention to every detail is an exemplar of service.
The breakfasts are an occasion and set you up for the day. We had no room for lunch or anything to eat until  we got back to Bostrase about 5.00, when we enjoyed a cuppa and slice of homemade cake sitting in the garden.Thank you for making us feel so welcome. Like returning family. 
We will be back. If we can get in !!!

Wonderful long weekend

From the moment you turn up it’s like your meeting long lost family.
Boo & Matt are incredibly friendly & although I’ve only stayed here once I’ve been back to visit them & plan to again soon.
The location is perfect to explore south Cornwall, and a brilliant tip to take the costal train to St Ives was ideal.
Clean, comfortable loved the animals. Would recommend to everyone.
