Lovely to see this iconic london venue still open , after all these years . (Iron maiden originally used to play there in the 'early days '.  Still have rock/HM bands regually .     Just like the old days when I used to go  in the 70's (!!!)     when I first saw Iron Maiden first play ......

Live music lives in the cart n  'orses (!)

Came to see ABBA voyage stumbled across this little gem. Not metal fans but for those who are get yourselves here. Staff are very helpful and you will love the atmosphere and the music. Loads of Iron Maiden memorabilia for you to look at and merchandise to buy. Not cheap but if you are a fan you'll love it.

A greatest pub I have ever come across in my life, Being a big Iron Maiden to come to the place Iron Maiden started off was just amazing. There are lots of posters and photos of the band all over the place. Staff are very friendly and the drinks are good prices.

Came here for a blind date and had a great time, drinks were cheap and they had a live band but the best part was that it was a pub full of Iron maiden stuff because this is were the band started from

The staff, and Kastro were extremely welcoming to me, from the U.S, my friend from China.  I came for Iron Maiden, but the atmosphere was like having a beer and a shot at home and that for me is the mark of a great pub. Definitely will return.

Thank you Cart and Horses. I am vegetarian and today you delivered for me without me thinking I was different.  The meal was delicious and the choices were amazing. The team were so accommodating. I am coming back for more

Loved the menu

This bar is located is Stratford just a stones throw from the station. This is a pilgrimage for all Iron Maiden fans and mind you I wanted to stand barefoot on the floor as the it should be considered hallowed ground. I arrived on a Monday night so if I’m being honest it was slow. I had the Iron Maiden ale. I am not a beer drinker but I was surprised at how gentle it was. The bar is full of memorabilia, the bartender was unbelievably sweet and the pool table is in great condition. I had a brew, listened to Maiden, made some friends and got to stand in the place where on of the greatest bands to ever exist got it’s humble start. I couldn’t be happier.

Brave new world

This pub is like an Iron Maiden museum. Full of Iron Maiden history, only Iron Maiden songs, full of posters and signed pictures from the early years of the band. If you are a Maiden or metal fan, it's definitely worth a visit.

Its a really nice pub, sadly isnt a proper place for real iron maiden fans like should be, the music isnt great, the atmosphere could be lot more metal! Nice food!

I’ll be back, love the place but definetely steve harris isnt happy about it... 

Nice and historic place

Had to do a stop here for work,from them moment I walked in,the staff couldn’t be more helpful,Sarah (I think she was duty manager) was both funny and welcoming,the beer was cold good and for London cheap,I enjoyed the food.the rooms maybe for builders but they are and comfortable the bathroom is a tad small (if you’re over 6foot and18stome lol)but all in all I’d heartedly recommend staying here
