Stable stay

We stayed in Print Room2 , well laid out with separate bedroom comfy bed and a nice balcony with table 
and chairs. Loved it.
   Swaffham Church is a must visit and excellent fish chips in town.
Wells next the sea is 45 mins away always worth a visit 10/10 

Weekend away with family

Beauitful Hotel, Ideal location, stunning rooms and decor. Just everything you could want or need for a romantic weekend away. The owners Les and Ness are so helpful and willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible with little thoughtful touches throughout. From the home-made bagels, fruit, milk and pastries (how did you know almond croissants are my favourite ever) all left in the room for us to helping us locate local taxi firms. We stayed in the Boudoir room and it was perfect. Very comfortable, nice size room and beautiful roll top bath with separate  shower. 

Thank you Ness and Les so much for making it such a memorable stay. We cannot wait to visit you again in the future.

Perfect Romantic Weekend

Excellent spacious suite (sitting room and kitchen and separate super king bed room) which is very well furnished and equipped. Warmly welcomed by owners in the cute Norfolk town well situated for the area 

Excellent and spacious accommodation

We recently spent one night at Strattons while on an independent bicycle trip around Norfolk.  I was looking for a place to stay in Swaffham area and Strattons website caught my eye, so I booked one of the apartments in a new building on the property.  It was simply terrific!  We arrived to find the owners in the garden and the two of them could not have been friendlier or more hospitable.  
The hotel location is excellent - in a quiet residential area just two minutes walk from shops/downtown.  The apartment is beautiful, spacious and filled with light - living area, kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom, all totally modern, nicely furnished, and in great condition.  They provided everything we needed for a nice breakfast the next morning:  coffees, tea, juice, milk, yogurt, pastries; which we enjoyed on our dining table.  
Swaffham is a nice town with a beautiful church - and we were just sorry we couldn't have stayed longer since Strattons was such a great place.  

A real gem of a place

What you must remember about this place is that is listed . Owners of Buildings as old and beautiful as this are limited in how much they’re allowed to do in terms of affording guests the kind of super modern amenities of national chains like prem lodge . 

The owners of this grand old building have done a superb and sympathetic conversion of this magnificent house into a hotel . The place oozes the style and grandeur of a time long past . The guest lounge area boasts a lovely fire and comfortable seating . 

There is a detached breakfast / dining room in the grounds to the front of the hotel . I found the prices to be competitive and what you would expect to pay in a hotel of this quality . As a dyed in the wool coffee junkie I was surprised to find that the coffee here  , as well as being the best in the town was only 70p more than the nearest greasy spoon of which Swaffham has a number of . It was also no dearer than Costa whse blend I personally am not a fan of . 

I understand that the bulk of the food is provided from local suppliers including a fabulous butchers in the town centre .

Great staff , great service . This has to be the best hotel in the town and surrounding area and we’ll worth a visit .

The hotel and specifically the Red Room are our home when we come to the area. Everyone is extremely nice and we love sitting by the fireplace in the evening. The restaurant has great options for vegans which is really important to me. It is always our go to hotel when we come here.

What a wonderful hotel, room was very comfy and all home comforts provided.  The   staff were amazing and made you feel welcome at all times. Would highly recommend this tucked away magical place.  Thank you.

2 night stay

Birthday nights stay for my boyfriend was completely perfect, Billie the receptionist was extremely helpful! Breakfast in the restaurant was 10/10 and the room and hotel is beautiful in a great location

Stayed for 3 nights with my wife, our two kids and my mum.  The rooms were quirky and very comfortable.  The staff were all excellent - really friendly and nothing was too much trouble.  The food was superb at both breakfast and dinner.  Not a criticism as such, but there was no children's menu.  They were very accommodating to make something suitable for our 7 and 4 year old boys from 'bits' of the main menu.  This worked well on the first evening, was okay on the second, but did mean we felt we had to eat somewhere else on our last evening.  In a similar vein, breakfast was great for the adults but pancakes, pastries and maybe even the option of some 'basic' cereals would have been good for the kids.  All in all, I would highly recommend and it is a great base to explore North Norfolk - we were sorry to leave!
