What a place to stay like the good old days fir B and B
Great host fantastic atmosphere 
Food just has you want open bar great banter I wish I could live here don’t miss out when coming to Weymouth absolutely loved our stay will be back brilliant lo

The owners Dave and Kirsty are absolutely brilliant, so welcoming and great fun, looked after us!!!! Breakfast was outstanding, been coming to Weymouth for ten years and this was our first stay, won’t be staying anywhere else from now on!!!

Absolute gem!!!!

A lovely building, we had a balcony overlooking the harbour and our friends had a bay window with the same views.. bedrooms were clean and bright .the carpets need replacing abit worn and bathrooms need an over haul our sink plug hole was rusty, and the showers tiny and abit old..but the place over all was very clean ...downstairs was lovely..breakfast was great and they had a bar which was also great..owners were away so place was being looked after by the parents and in laws...Jackie was good at brekkie and Elizabeth and Sandra were very funny and friendly on bar duty..we will be back 

A great place to stay

Fantastic owners great location stayed in room with balcony which was lovey.
My Mum and Dad stayed there for 3 nights and they are definitely going back.  They overlooked the harbour and it was really close to the beach.  Breakfast also VERY good 😁

Amazing weymouth 

Had a wonderful stay at the chatsworth, the room had a lovely view of the old harbour, was cosy and perfect for as a base for a short break away with the lady. Breakfast was also very good and the room clean & tidy. Couldn’t fault it and would certainly stay again. Parking was OK, managed to find a space easily enough and if I hadn’t there was a large car park 2 mins walk away.

Just stopped by and had a very warm welcome very friendly staff could not do enough for me and my wife will definitely return the owner and is wife where away at the time but is mother was looking after it for them a very lovely lady and helpful  with information about area

Shot break away

We were presently surprised at location and pretty view from our room through the French doors. There was plenty of wardrobe space and also drawers to house our clothes. The bed was a double (we are used to a king size) but it was comfortable. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room too. The en-suite shower room was small but adequate. We turned the radiator off as it was boiling hot in there when we arrived (it was a very cold day ) so appreciated that the heating had been put on in advance. 
There is no lift - so lugging suitcases up the stairs wasn’t great. The French doors were old and the wood was swollen- so we couldn’t open them at all to get any fresh air in the room :(
We couldn’t get a permit to park on the first day so we had to pay to park 5 mins walk away- the second day we had a permit which is something to consider if you are staying longer than a day or two.
I’m coeliac and have to have a gluten free diet. I had a lovely cooked breakfast and the option of gluten free bread too which was appreciated.
To sum up - we enjoyed our stay but our room really needs an update

Two night stay

The Chatsworth was good value for money and a good place to stay as you go out and explore during your stay. Despite a few small things like a cracked window the place had a real cared for place
The breakfasts were yummy and the dining area was very calm and welcoming for first thing on a morning.
My room was cosy and considering the size (was a single) was fit for multi purpose. Sleeping or lounging on the bed, watching the sea or rainbow lights from the chair by the window or getting ready for a night out. 
The owners and Floyd were welcoming, helpful and just good people. Definitely plan on staying at the Chatsworth again and going on the beach, harbour and local restaurants from a cosy and great location.

The wiring was terrible and the TV and lights above dressing table did not work.  The toilet flush was very hit and miss and guess there is a plumbing issue!  There was a continuous humming noise outside the door and we were unable to sleep well.  We were told it was free parking but ended up having to pay £13 for less than 24 hours.  The breakfast was 'middle of the road'.  No extra toast was offered and no-one asked if it was o.k.  The waitress did not tie her hair back when serving food, which is unacceptable I think.  The room had not been checked before we arrived as when I hung a coat in the wardrobe there was a pair of shoes in there on the shelf (obviously from the previous person staying there)!!  Landlady was pleasant and landlord didn't even make eye contact when we checked out - like we were not worthy of their hospitality!  Would definitely not stay there again.

One night stop in Weymouth

Room needs attention regarding maintenance.housekeeping was practically non existent. Breakfast was very good.view from room excellent . Host very pleasant when taking cash from us but found him rude . Made no effort to speak to anyone
