Fab stay! Close to beach, shops and bars and restaurants. 
Penny is lovely and made our stay. Her breakfast is amazing and the place is so clean and smells lovely. Only thing I would recommend is a bit of low music in the breakfast area. Loved our time here and will definitely return. Thank u x

Great B&B

Excellent BnB. My partner and I stayed here the weekend of the Weymouth seafood festival. It was a delightful experience, mainly due to the owner and due to breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble, the full English was great and the yoghurt granola nutty thingy to kick off breakfast was fabulous. Highly recommended:)

Wonderfully welcoming and quirky place to stay

We had a wonderful time over the bank holiday weekend staying here.
The whole place was spotlessly clean and tidy.
Breakfast was amazing! Penny was so helpful with everything.
The rooms had everything that we needed.
Touch lamps with two USB charge points at the bedside, tea and coffee making facilities with a mini fridge with fresh milk.
Hairdryer iron ironing board blankets beach towels- everything that you could possibly need! 
I would highly recommend staying here especially as it is so close to the beach and walking distance from lovely places to eat.

What a fantastic little guest house, upon arrival we booked an extra day, if it wasn't for our cats and work we would never leave lol ,penny really is a most amazing hostess and an all round lovely person. Excellent

A very warm welcome when we  arrived the decoration in hotel was certainly different made to feel very comfortable the room lot of thought went into it, large towels iron board iron hair dryer different hand gels  seperate bath gel, comfortable bed, nothing seemed to much trouble.  The breakfast very good ample to eat from her special yogurt to fresh fruit  cereals full english breakfast tea coffee or ground coffee different fruit juices

Near the beach

This was our first time staying at Philbeach Guest House as a family  and it certainly won’t be our last.
We all loved Penny’s happy go lucky humour as did all the other guests and her full English breakfast was really delicious. 
Have to mention her Perfect fried eggs that are cooked to perfection!!!
Would definitely recommend this lovely quaint B&B as a lovely time was had by all.
Keep up the good work Penny as it’s very much appreciated by the vast majority of your guests.
Hope to see you again in the very near future.

Lovely time had by all….

We booked three rooms for 6 of us to have a small family holiday. The Landlady was extremely welcoming and very friendly. The rooms were immaculate and although small they were sufficient for our needs. The breakfast was mutually agreed to be at 9am and was delicious. 
Can’t wait to stay here again soon!

Family Holiday

Very homely and clean. Excellent breakfast - nothing too much trouble. The owner Penny was a real character and made us very welcome. Guest house near to attractions and  opposite the sea. 
Will definitely visit again.

Weekend break

stayed at this guest house for 4 nights and will say we had a realy nice time,penny made us feel real welcome and is a lovely lady.breakfast was a traditional fry up for us with orange juice and coffee but you have the choice of other items,we had the small room on the ground floor which was spotless and the bed real comfy,shower and toilet was clean and nice,the only slight downside we noticed was the parking can be a little unreliable and sometimes you might have to search for a space but at least its free with the permit penny gives you on arrival.all in all we had a great time and didnt want to return home,with the beach just over the road its an ideal location,will return one day for another break.

lovely 4 night break

We booked a last-minute trip to the seaside and found Penny's lovely B&B, Philbeach Guest House in Weymouth (Dorset).  The location was minutes from the beach and at the somewhat quieter end of things (although the busy Pavilion area is only a 10-15 minute walk down the shore).  Our rooms were cozy and charming, and Penny could not have been more welcoming.  With the Covid protocols, we booked our set time for breakfast and were basically the only people eating at that time.  Her full English is perfect, and she was very flexible with my teenagers modifying their orders to have more sausage and no beans (or whatever).  Penny has a great story about how she ended up wanting to run a B&B, and she is so well-suited to it!  We loved our stay at Philbeach and will absolutely be back!
