Excellent customer service ! We had an outstanding time . Extra thank you and praise to the lady who made us delicious breakfast each morning ( I didn’t get her name ) and the lady who worked in the office in the evening , I believe her name was Dedra, were superb . Your helpfulness and thoughtfulness doesn’t go unnoticed. Your cookies were my granddaughter’s favorite and thank you for making her feel special.

Great place to stay with the Best Southern Breakfast included!! Cooked to order with fresh fruit!  Very nice outdoor area to relax and very comfortable beds!!! I highly recommend staying here for any type of trip...walkable to all of downtown Aiken.

My friend and I arrived for a 2 night stay to attend the Steeplechase.   I think the employees are very helpful and nice. We met several other guests who have attended for several years and always stay here. I think the Inn is lovely, charming and welcoming. Our room was 3 story building behind the original structure, there is an elevator!
 Our premium 2 queen bed room was just fine although without a fridge. The best part is the multiple seating areas provided outside the rooms where you can just relax.

Don’t pass this one up

Excellent stay in this hotel that feels like you’ve stepped back in time with modern conveniences!  We stayed in the original house, it was very comfortable, the stairs creak but this didn’t disturb us. The linens were nice and soft.  Breakfast was fantastic sausage soufflé and quiche with grits.  Walking distance to great restaurants and a lovely downtown.

Great Location and beautiful hotel

Ok, so if you have read my reviews in the past I make a mockery of those folks posting about silly stuff like a light outside their room (street light) or a barking dog outside their room and lying in their reviews that there is a dog park across the street - pure silliness.  People lie on reviews all the time and their misgivings about the Carriage House Inn are false.....the showers in the adjacent buildings are a bit dated (but awesome!), but other than that this place could be nestled along side the homes on Tradd St in Charleston and be right at home.    
Candice - front office joy that I met - was terrific as was the kind woman serving breakfast.   My room was comfy, sheets crisp, room clean except for a chair in the corner (Candice - go take a look at room 316 - that cream colored chair needs some attention), but then I used it for my luggage so it had more than one use.  The grounds were kept nice, the location cannot be beat and frankly it is up there with the Wilcox - of which you can never get a reservation any longer - and half the price.    
Please stay here.  Enjoy the ambiance and southern hospitality.  Ignore the ridiculous bad reviews as those folks would complain their ice was too cold.   Sure some folks may have a legitimate issue, but unless you let the staff know how will they know?  Its called adulting Karen....

Great place, Great Staff, Great rating

My husband and I had an amazing time at the Carriage House.  It’s located right in the heart of downtown Aiken!  We loved it here.  The owner was so nice when there was a little hiccup with our reservation.  We got it worked out and really enjoyed our stay.  The staff was so nice!  Loved it so much we will be moving to Aiken in just a couple of years!

In late March and again in late April, we stayed at this charming inn. The room was lovely. The staff responded to our every request. The hot breakfast was made to order and delicious. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon was a double-yum. The entire downtown is literally steps from the front door. Thanks to the Carriage House Inn, Aiken has now become one of our go-to destinations!

Southern hospitality and great location

Stayed three nights during Masters week. First, Carriage House inn is just beautiful and elegant outside and inside. Southern charm, antiques, lovely Persian rugs everywhere. Second, we were so warmly greeted: upon arrival, with an escort to the room, each morning for a great breakfast. The staff here goes out of their way to just be nice, gracious, and helpful. We had a minor issue with our room, and they addressed it happily, and promptly. Third, the location is terrific, with easy parking, and just a short wander away to shops, restaurants, outdoor bars. Finally, our price and value were just outstanding. AAA discount made our stay a very welcome bargain, especially after paying so much to attend the Masters practice round.  We'd love to be back, and recommend this historic, lovely Inn to anyone.

Enjoyed out stay at the Carriage House. Staff extremely friendly and go out of the way to help. King suite was comfortable and very clean.

The heart and soul of the Carriage House Inn is genuine southern hospitality.  The breakfast and facilities are reliably wonderful.  Once you visit, you will put it on your list of places to return to often!

We have been there many times and Angie and Andrea always make sure that EVERYTHING is clean and wonderful.
