Woodspring Suites in Albuquerque is terrific! Very professional and friendly staff. Clean, bright rooms and a ground floor laundry room in full working order. My room was extremely comfortable. An excellent value for the money. Highly recommended.

Wow!  We found the Front Desk to be extremely helpful and wonderful! The room was very clean, all appliances worked, and there was plenty of hot water! Big, spacious bathroom, Cable TV, AC/Heater there was even an AM/FM Clock radio! 

Jason, Sharon, Jessica and Jeremiah were all above and beyond with customer service.  Don't listen to the locals, Value Place on E. Central is safe and secure and staffed with the nicest people!!

Residential Stay

We attended the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and stayed here. It wasn’t fancy but was a nice room. Had a full size fridge and stove. No plates or pans to cook in. That wasn’t a big deal to me since I don’t cook on vacation.  Beds we’re very comfortable. We will definitely stay again. Well worth the money. The only thing I missed was the fridge didn’t have an ice maker.

Due to health issues I've been staying at the Albuquerque location for quite some time now. I've always been impressed with the level of customer service provided by the manager at this location. She has "always" been quick to address my concerns, and she loves my dog!

Management Customer Service

Very reasonable price, around half the price of other hotels in the area.  The service was unreliable.  I had to ask them twice to print a few documents for me.  They said they would wash my clothes because they were out of quarters for the washing machine. The also said they would have it done within 2 hours.  I called in 12 hours latter and they had not even started my wash.  The  bed had a lot of peaks and valleys. It was uncomfortable to sleep on. The price was so good that I was able to overlook these short comings.  I couldn't reserve or get a smoking room even though I know they were available. Just do not expect any special service.

Price is right but you get what you pay for

I stayed here before COVID it was okay and the cheapest in a bad area. There are cheaper ones.  But I would not stay in the cheaper ones without an automatic weapon. 

I made my reservations online, gave then my credit number and recorded my confirmation number. Then drove 400 miles and arrived about 8:00 PM.  There was homeless camping the long driveway. But they got to be somewhere, and this is Central Ave.  AKA the war zone. 

At the front desk. Yeah, I see you made it to our web site. But we have no rooms for tonight.  Here is my confirmation number.  We Have no rooms.  I paid you here is my credit card and my confirmation number.  You will not be charged. We have no rooms.  I can get you in tomorrow.  

Where the hell do you suggest I stay tonight? She replied, we are an extended stay motel.  Why would that matter. You confirmed my reservations? No answer. 

Would you like a room tomorrow. Hell no. 

She clearly did not care and had this conversation several times before.

No room at the inn

We booked ahead.   Arrived and the room was NOT ready -- 3PM.   Had to stand in the hallway waiting.   Finally got in.   Looked clean.   Nothing fancy, not even a coffee maker.   Only a single set of towels and a washcloth.   No drinking glasses, and a piece of soap the size of a half dollar.

Dogs barking, inside.   Constant flow of activity in the hall, not quiet.    

The next day we came in from the city and noticed the smell inside our room.   Opened the window and turned on the fan.

That night we met the bugs, on the countertop, in the drawers . . . ugh.   Never again.

Oh my gosh

There was no one at front desk when I arrived, I had to wait in front of a closed sliding steel, and it smelled like smoke, more like marijuana. Then I was told without anyone looking up my name, hotel didn't have any rooms and I have booked for over a week, and absolutely NO one contacted me by email or phone indicating there wouldn't be a room available.  I felt like I was discriminated. TBH, it did look like where druggies hang out.

We had booked a room for 2 days, was told it was cancelled! Had to change my plans, so do NOT book a room here,

I dont know WHY I didn't check the reviews for this location. I stayed at the WoodSprings in Oklahoma City (Norman), OK and you could darn near eat off the floors, everything was immaculate. At the Albuquerque location, the first room they gave me stank, it smelled like a hundred old gym bags, filled with year old socks! I gave it 10 seconds of trying to bare it, hoping it'll go away but it was so stinky that I just could not stay there. The next room she gave me had a better smell, but still there was a slight odor but bearable. However, everything is so dirty, the towels aren't even white...as Im sitting here now Im contemplating leaving.

I normally read the reviews...smh..and figured they'd all be like the one in Oklahoma City...lesson learned. Lesson learned. I just looked at the TV and Im really feeling sick to my stomach, the phone looks like it has blood on it...I dont want to see anymore. I wouldn't dare turn back the bed sheets, I dont want to see. Yeah I think Im just about to leave, its not worth it. Ive never left a hotel due to issues like this but I guess there is a first time for everything. :-( (See pics)

The best thing was the receptionist, she was so very understanding and pleasant. She was working on 5/23 at around 5 PM. She was exceptional, not a snide look or remark or anything and she refunded my money.

Management needs to do much better.

Please Run - Suggestion #3

Wow. The first real dive during a month long travel. First of all, it’s sets back from the road which doesn’t make it welcoming. Waste land is never a good look. 
Staff on the front desk checked me in as a formality, but no staff available at check out. 

The room itself was horrific. First of all, it stunk. The only way I can describe it, was burnt bread? It was disgusting. Not surprising considering how vile the room was. It’s clear that no money has been spent on this place possibly since it’s been open. Old carpets, old bedding, the kitchenette was dated and fallen to bits. The bathroom was dirty with thick dust on all the ledges. 

While this place was cheap, you shouldn’t have to compromise on cleanliness due to price. It should reflect location or amenities. Not basics. 

I didn’t feel safe at this place, it was noisy, poorly lit and generally a total dump. Entire place stunk of smoke as well.
