If you're looking for a place that is reasonably inexpensive and close to Sea World this place my family and I found is it. They have a nice pool and the staff was very friendly to us. I recommend this place if you're on a budget for sure. Thanks Star Inn ! 

Great place to stay

M Hotel is now Star Inn and it was a pleasant surprise. It was a very comfortable room and quite roomy. I was happy to see a good size refrigerator and microwave. 😊 there is also a full size ironing board, iron and blow dryer. The gentleman at the counter was super  helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay there again.

We have booked the double queen bed non-smoking room.This room was close to office and laundry room.

Good:
1) Room itself looks clean and good. Beds are also considerably ok.  

Bad:
2)Bathroom smells really bad. Also Our room had a door which connects other room and it was locked. We were uncomfortable with this. Even in the evening someone was trying to open from other side and thery  the door.

I am not sure all the rooms have same issue, At Least it was unpleasant stay for us.

Room is less value than what we paid!

37 years ago my husband and I stayed here on our wedding night in the bridal sweet, it was nice back then. Don't know if they still have it or not, it was a big room above the o We came here today to get away for a couple of days and I'm very disappointed. Luckily I hadn't own cleaning supplies with me. I had to clean the microwave, fridge and tub before we could use them. Also there was only one towel in here and no toilet paper. I called the front desk and they brought some for us pretty quickly. My husband isn't even here yet and I know he's going to be disappointed.

The toilet had poop on the bowl and the bottom of seat, there was urine and dirt behind the seat, the lid had urine on it. There was part of a watermelon in the fridge. The bedside tables were sticky. The floor was so dirty that a clorox wipe would only clean 2-3 tiles before it had to be thrown away. There were stains on the bed spread (hope they were stains)  The ceiling had dirt and dust bunnies hanging.  There was water and hair in the tray that holds the ice bucket and the sealed plastic glasses had water inside.  Twice we asked them to come clean the room and they never showed up. In addition there is a $40 cash deposit and the smoke detector is not present and the phone did not work

Don't stay here

If i can give this motel a 0 star I would give it but I can't. Anyways, I booked my reservation via Airmiles more than a week before my stay. I got my confirmation email so I thought I was good to go. I arrived in San Antonio July 27, 2020 after several hours of travel so I was really tired and just wanted to relax. When I was trying to check-in they told me that my name was not in their system (they claimed it's their first time to hear of Airmiles, what a lame excuse!) and instead offer me to pay 3 nights. I was so frustrated that I just went to a different hotel. I was glad I did becuase the Uber driver that drove me to Holiday Inn Express told me that that area (Ingram) was a skethcy one and that hotel was a regular hangout of drug people! So I warn you, please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this hotel. But on the plus side, there was a guy (not sure if he was the caretaker) who was very helpful (but looks weird too, not trying to be judgmental here but let's call a spade a spade). But still at the end of the day he wasn't able to sort things out. Also, this motel is also near the Ingram Mall. But other than that I don't think it's worth your money and time to stay in this hotel. STAY OUT!

This place is false advertisement. we got there and we're checked in right away to go to our room to find cigarette burns on the mattress and blankets. holes in the walls of the bathroom. and mold on the carpets. an hour into being there the power went out in the hotel and didn't come back on. we demanded a refund and got out of there as soon as we could. DON'T EVER BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!! go to a chain you might pay more but your better off.
