For the money,  this motel is just fine.
Next to highway so there is a lot of road noise, but that also mean easy access to highway.
The staff was super friendly.
The breakfast area was super clean and the food was great.

Airman Visit

If your expectations are realistic, then this hotel won't disappoint.  We were there for my nephew's bmt graduation, and the location was great.  We were there for 4 nights. Two of the days we had to get our key cards reactivated. That part was annoying.  On the upside, nothing was stolen out of our room.

Decent for the location.

When I first showed up all my towels were stained, majority of my outlets didn’t work so hard to unplug things behind the tv to charge anything. They replaced my shower head because it looked moldy. They replaced my shower head and got my room new towels. Room is really close to lackland which is really nice! But behind it there’s a closed down hotel which kills eye appeal. I wouldn’t consider it best location because it’s right off the highway and the area isn’t 5 star. But how close it was to the base was the main reason for staying. I do appreciate them fixing some of the things on my room, replacing the shower head was a big reason I stayed as well.

Upon arrival, there were homeless people smoking out of a pipe. We went in to the room, turn on the lights are they are flickering like something youd see in a horror movie. The blankets on the bed were torn, the floor was absolutely disgusting, the bathroom was just gross, there was a cockroach under the tv remote, and it REEKED of cigarettes. We took our family to a different hotel and did not even stay there.

The Deluxe Inn in San Antonio is the most disgusting place EVER! Mold, cockroaches, smoke detector ripped off wall, no ice machine, no tv remote, and when one was delivered, there were 2 fuzzy channels. Paint peeling off all walls and the toilet made me want to vomit. And what hotel chain mandates a $60 cash only deposit per room? They said the gas station next door has an ATM. This place needs to be burned down and start over!

This hotel needs to be condemned!

If only it were possible to give negative stars or numbers!  This would be the property to start the category! 
This was part of a package put together with Expedia,. And, although we had stayed at 2 star places before, this does not even deserve ANY stars unless it would be how high on the list of establishments that should be closed down by the  local health department!  
Black mold, mold on the shower head, cockroaches, broken AC unit with mold all over..
No organization should have this place on their list - at all!  
When I decided to check out the next day, they informed me they would have to go and check the room before I could get my cash deposit back.  They actually wondered I left the room in a worse shape than I found it?

If only it were possible...

This hotel is not a 3 star hotel !!!!! This is falsely advertised. The rooms are discusting not clean at all. Spot of blood on pillow, dirty towels, cig burns in comforters. Room #115

Save your money 

Probably the worst hotel I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. I would have probably felt better sleeping in my car.

Aside from the fact that management was totally unresponsive how can you stay at a place the for all practical purposes "rations out" toilet paper. We had to make numerous trips to the front desk to get a roll of TP. Towels, I guess the 6 of them that they own have to make the rounds to the other guests as trying to get a couple of fresh towels never happened.

The place was in such disrepair that you were afraid to touch anything for fear of breaking it further. I'm furious at myself for not reading the reviews of this place prior to booking it.

Knowing what I know now, I would have turned down staying there if THEY offered to pay me to stay there. If I could have given this dump a 0 rating I would have.

What a s#@t hole

This hotel is so outdated! Carpet is worn and has holes and burn marks, toilet leaks all over the floor, they weren’t sure if the maintenance guy would be available to repair it right away, pillows were tiny things better used as throw pillows. Insufficient electrical outlets. On a good note the staff were all friendly and polite!

Outdated and dirty!

The pictures of the rooms were deceiving, not accurate online to what you pay for. Did not feel safe in the area the hotel was in. 
Room was not clean or welcoming, stains on bedding, cracks in wall, odor inside and outside of rooms, and appeared to have doors kicked in multiple times. Would not recommend this hotel or ever come back.
