The rooms weren't that bad people put to much on it. The rooms are clean. sheets clean, they put brand new towels in restroom. Staff is friendly.   there's a lot of people outside but if you don't talk to them they don't  talk to you. I'll prove it to you i will upload some photos.

its in the average part of town for Barstow which is saying a lot. 
I would stay there again as a single guy but i had to swap rooms due to the cig smoke smell.
staff was fine and helped me move rooms. i was mildy confident my stuff in my car wouldnt get stolen.

If it's 2:00am and you just need a bed to sleep for a few hours, this hotel may fit the bill.  It was cheap - $40 - and that's about the only positive about it.  The staff member was very nice and helpful too.  The room itself looked like they raided dumpsters to find the furniture.  The bath towels were as thin as tissue paper and the size of hand towels so not at all useful.  If you're desperate and price matters, this is the hotel for you.  Under any other circumstances it probably isn't.

This hotel, we booked  because we were looking for a cheap place to sleep for the night.  It was indeed cheap.  However, travellers should be aware that sandpaper would be softer than their tiny towels.  There was no bar soap at all in the room. So, bring your own.  There was a mini fridge and a microwave.  Disabity guests should ask for a lower floor.  The beds were not very comfortable, but was about what I would expect for the price.  The front desk person was nice enough. This is an older motel. The curtains were a bit moth eaten or wholly.  The carpets appear stained and in need of cleaning.  The shower is very narrow.  I felt more comfortable sideways in it, as I am a heavy person.  There are not any safety bars, if you require them on the toilet or shower.  It was indeed a cheap place to crash.  My best recommendation is to bring your own towels and soap bars.

The positive is that our bed and bedding were clean, though shabby, and bed was far from the greatest but not awful.

My dissatisfaction is in part my fault because after looking at ten or so motels in the area and then chooosing this one because of the price, I forgot to re-check the amenities.
It's very disappointing that for only about $7 more, we could have had amenities that would have saved us that and more.

There is no coffee in the lobby, no coffeemaker in the bedroom, no microwave, no refrigerator, no ice, old TV that we couldn't figure out how to work, and rather unsafe stairs.   By the time we drove out for a cup of coffee and had to throw out food for lack of refrigeration or ice, we spent/lost a lot more than we would have simply by paying a very few dollars more.

No phone in the room, so when we wanted things like soap or wanted to know how to work the TV, it required a long hike through a kinda scary parking lot to try to reach someone at the front desk.  There was no trash can anywhere.

When we complained about no ice machine, the management said that they try to hold down costs for their customers.  That's admirable, but it didn't work because it cost so much more to get things that most people want, like coffee or even just a way to get hot water.  We didn't realize there was wifi because it wasn't mentioned when we checked in, so we don't know whether it worked or not.

You can get a lot more "for a few dollars more."  Total lack of standard amenities.  Not recommended at all.

We pulled up.  Got out of the car. Visited reception where they wanted to keep hold of my credit card. We saw many people hanging around the rooms and carpark.

We got back in the car and left.  

We booked a nice chain hotel down the road for 20$ more including breakfast. 

It was worth loosing our booking cost to see our car in the morning with 4 wheels and my credit card is safe. 

Save your money and book elsewhere.

be careful your kids might get raped or you may get rob keep away please for your safety.. the korean lady that runs it don't care what goes on there. its filthy and someone died in the room there. There are mice and rats drug addicts..

I recently was caught in a snow storm trying to get to Las Vegas from Los Angeles. I was redirected back to Barstow and all hotels were sold out but this one. The following is my opinion based off of my one night stay.

The Pros:

1. The staff were kind and helpful.
2. The room had a heater which kept the ice cold at bay.

The Cons:

1. The room was filthy, carpet stained,  bedding stained, door damaged, holes in the ceiling and walls, and no toilet paper. 
2. Non stop noise and movement outside the room. I saw multiple people using drugs as I entered the room on the stairs and the walk way.
3. The stairs and walk way was damaged and had trash everywhere. 
4. Bed had bugs on the mattress. 

I would advise anyone that has a choice to not stay at this hotel.  Be advised.

Horrible Motel, snowed in no choice but to stay

We stayed one night and wished we had not bothered...it smelt horrid and the furniture in reception was all torn and grease stained...there was a very strong smell of cannabis throughout the grounds...do not let the name sway you because it is not worth any price you pay...very uncomfortable and was glad to get out of there...a nice town with great restaurants...

The worst hotel ever experienced

We were tired and just needed a bed thinking not to spend a lot of money. We had problems with the door going into the lobby. That started this bad experience. We then were told we would led be moved to the quiet side , and it was not quite. Drinkers keep making a lot of noise even wearing air plugs half the night.
Then there was the condition of the room and how dirty it was.
Then it hit me why no refunds ! Because no one would stay in their right mind. We did not want to take our shoes off. The pictures explain it all!
Save yourself a lot of grief , not this place !!!
