What a uniquely different and wonderful experience. Such a comfortable hotel to stay in with excellent charm. The owner, Chris, has created an atmosphere in which you feel like you’re at home. This is not so much a fancy hotel, but an extremely comfortable hotel. It has the unique history of this old mining town and a heritage of this 100 year old hotel
As other reviews state, if you’re looking for large screen TV in your room,  a fancy lobby, And a huge happy hour bar… Find a Hilton. But if you want to go back in time… This is the place!

You feel like you are home

The Inn at Castle Rock is a fantastic, quaint little place with tons of character.  Our respective jobs keep us on the road regularly, and this was a great break from the typical boring corporate hotels!  Lest I neglect the location was prime for walking to shopping, food, and bars - we adore this Inn, and will be back again to enjoy its unique ambiance!

Love this Inn!

I loved the central location, so many interesting properties to review if you are able to walk.  Each room is different, filled with charm, all kinds of memorability.  I had the most enjoyable time meeting the other guests in the social areas.  I slept in a room next to the street, didn't hear a thing all night long.  A quiet town.

We will be back. . .

Great time at The Inn at Castle Rock

This building is 125 years old. Filled with charm. All kinds of nooks and crannies to hide out in. Very unique. Friendly people. Great location. Free coffee and breakfast. We liked everything about it and will stay here again. 

Beautiful old place

The Inn at Castle Rock in the mining town of Bisbee Arizona is an adorable place with a great locale within walking distance to downtown Main Street and all the shops and dining experiences. The history of the Inn is fascinating with a touch of haunting from time to time. 
The Inn was built around a mine shaft that hit a spring and filled with water. Where else would you find that?! The balcony outside the room and sitting area with fireplace were very comfortable and inviting. We recommend this place to anyone that loves historical and ghostly type accommodations!
We will definitely return with our tours scheduled in the near future and the glass room on top will be perfect for our group gatherings!

If you want a Keurig or a plasma TV in your room, go somewhere else....it'll distract you from the natural beauty and years of man-made, fascinating historical items/structures.
Exit the hotel, go LEFT, go RIGHT....it doesn't matter- the eclectic shops and architecture surround you.
The hotel itself is loaded with historical items, the smell of old timbers, a staff that enjoys their work and is eager to please, a 'Silence of The Lambs'- type pit/well !!
The rooms are clean, the coffee is fantastic, and the folks hanging out in their chairs posted outside the rooms make conversation easy and spontaneous.

Beyond Charming!

perfectly comfortable place to sleep. we were in Room 23 the Down Under room. all rooms are decorated to a theme. it is quite unique. a very homely place with lots of little quirky things. they provide an a continental breakfast which you help yourself to it was great. had boiled eggs and bagels and nice coffee.
we loved the character of the place. just what we were looking for. and great for walking around Bisbee. you can park on the street outside hotel ok.

a unique Experience if that's what you want.

We stayed a night here on our way to Tombstone and Tucson. When I walked in to make an enquiry about vacancies I was met with, “Is that an Australian accent that I detect” and I answered back, “Is that a New Zealand accent that asked me “. A really pleasant place to stay, our room was small but we had a ensuite which for us was all that we need. It’s a very old Inn that adds to its charm and the owners and staff are very welcoming. You can use the great room for reading and there’s a little kitchen as well and in the morning they supply a continental breakfast that you help yourself too. Apart from all of that the nightly rate was really good. Bisbee is a cute little town.

A fine Inn owned by a Kiwi

This hotel was like stepping back in time.  The hotel is built into the side of a mountain.  It was built in the 1880's as a boarding house for miners in Bisbee.  Although it is old, it is quaint and clean.  There is no TV in any of the rooms and no wi-fi in the rooms, only in the common areas.  It was comfortable and clean.  Price was at the low end of reasonable.  There was free coffee and continental breakfast in the morning. Employees were very friendly.  We really enjoyed the quiet, comfortable stay.

Very Interesting Stay

I stayed here one night as it was a cheaper rate than other spots in town and had a funky vibe. I was given the Tasmania room, the "fall" theme, and the room had an Amazon jungle vibe which was very cool. The owner, Chris, and the woman who checked me in and showed me around, Helen, were very nice folks and very helpful. 
There was a small heater in the room that provided just enough warmth when it cold, but it would've been nice to have a fireplace or larger heating unit. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Being a historic building in a historic town, it could've used a touch-up as far as paint and carpentry work. The steps in the lobby and throughout the premise can be tricky since they are uneven and a bit rocky, so be careful if you carrying lots of luggage. 
The included breakfast is a DIY kitchen setup with coffee, breads, cereal, and fruit. It would've been nice if the refrigerator with milk, cream, etc. was in the kitchen but they keep those items in a fridge in a separate room. In any case, it was nice to enjoy breakfast sitting outside, and there's a nice dining area connected to the kitchen with very elegant and cozy seating.
Overall, it's definitely a true inn and not a modernized, upscale hotel. Each room has its own unique spin and the overall feel is laid back. You'll still have WiFi access, but my room did not include a TV (which was fine). The other guests were friendly and it was quiet at night. If you're looking for something different, definitely check this place out
