We stayed in room 137. Room was large and clean. Sleeping mattress was comfortable. I will definitely return back if I’m in the area. I recommend other people to book directly with the hotel is much better deal as I was told at check in.

Comfortable Stay

We paid through an app and were told we would have to pay $50 per pet after the paperwork was done. This is more than double the listed pet fee of $20 on the website. After arguing and proving our point, we paid the $40 for our two pets. We get to the room, and it literally stinks. Like marijuana and patchouli. It’s just bad. The doors are so thin, I can hear the footsteps of the people outside. And why is literally everything metal on here? It’s painted to look like wood, but it’s all metal....very strange. 
Also another hotel, IN THE SOUTH where the air conditioning is turned off all the time. It takes forever to cool a room from 100 degrees to “moderately comfortable”. I’m not sure you people understand that in the south, it’s freaking hot. And at the end of a day of changing three flat tires, driving 11 hours, and just wanting to go to bed, we only want to go to bed. Not go inside, turn everything on, leave for an hour so we don’t die of heat stroke in the room, and THEN go to bed. Everything is covered in paint splatters, it’s just dirty, smelly, and too dang expensive for this crap. 

Stinks

Submitting this for a friend.  Planned on staying a week, left after one night.  Bunches of roaches came out from under microwave and refrigerator.  Towels were stained. Tub had hairs in it.  Front desk said they couldn't credit the account til next day.  Wound up being offered another room because it was late and was going to stay in car. Still charged regular price for one night. The second room had a dead roach on floor. Went to bed stink bugs were flying around and on the ceiling.  Gross. Stayed here 2 years ago and one time since and didn't have any issues.

Roaches

This is the nastiest motel I’ve ever been in . I would advise you keep searching until you find somewhere else to stay .. I also believe there’s some shady things going on in there as well .. horrible experience . Ok 

Motel 6 

By far this has been my worst stay at a Motel 6 in all my travels, I asked for a non-smoking room which was on the second floor, the moment you walk in to the motel it smells to cigarrete all over, and no difference in the room, sheets, pillows even towels, the bathroom had cigarette stain marks all over, the toilet seat was broken, the toilet paper holder was broken as well as the towel hanger, the carpet was disgusting, place was a total mess. And not to mention the shaddy "guests" going in and out of rooms, screaming all night and banging on the doors.

Like another member mentioned, I'd be ashamed to have this motel in my lineup @motel6

Keep driving or stay in your car

This is the worst Motel 6 I have ever experienced, room 218.  I never have any expectation other than a clean place to sleep, shower and have the things work that are offered.  The free internet is locked, but was told there was no password required.  The TV would not select channels.  A call to the desk was never answered.  There was nobody at the desk except when I arrived, they came in from smoking with a group by the laundry room. The air conditioner was on its last leg.  It made horrible noise and the front was taped on with electrical tape. The building is filthy, inside and out and stinks of smoke everywhere. The second floor where I stayed is non-smoking, but there are burns on the toilet seat, counter top and other places from cigarettes. The bedding is horrible. The carpet in the stairwell must have not been swept or cleaned for at least 6 months.  The sign below the Motel 6 sign said "Now Open".  It must have been closed and scheduled for demolition, but reopened instead.  This building should be condemned and never be used as a place for humans to eat or sleep. Motel 6 should be ashamed of having their name on this building.

You Will Regret Staying Here

I have never witnessed such horrible customer service. I called an Day before my reservation to change the days. But they “couldn’t find me in the system” so I assumed I didn’t have one. But I gave them my name, number, conformation number and told them I wanted to change the dates. They said they would even call me back. Instead of checking in on Friday 8/16/19 I wanted to check in the next day and stay until that Monday. I was driving 8+ hours to get there and didn’t call them back the next day. Magically I got charged for not checking in on Friday. But said “I wasn’t in their system” “couldn’t find my name or confirmation number”. They said they’d issue me a full refund. Have yet to do it. And still told me they are now gonna charge me for a night stay. I called the manager and she nonstop hung up on me. Interrupted me. Wouldn’t let me tell her what happened. Said there’s no proof I call them. Well I have proof I talked to someone for 14 minutes to change my days. Gave them all my information. They said I didn’t even exist in the system. But somehow can charge my card. I will be contacting someone higher than a manager. 

Horrible horrible 

I would like to warn people the hotel is very outdated and their beds are like sleeping on rocks and the hotel is nasty and the carpert is very dirty and no breakfast that's worth getting up for. Please take my advice stay else!!!!Needs lots of improvement!!!! Will not return!

Road trip

Room 219 is infested with roaches. The room and bathroom was so dirty. The carpet looked like it hasn’t been swept in months. The roaches were crawling everywhere especially in the bathroom. The bathtub was so dirty.

Do not stay here it’s filthy. Evacuated for hurricane and original hotel booked overbooked, it’s midnight been driving all day only place we could find. Walked into room, door wasn’t locked it was beyond description, flipped on bathroom light dead bugs on the floor. Wouldn’t let my mother enter, went to front desk to get money back and that was easy, employees just don’t seem to care!!! Stay away, don’t even see how it’s open.
