I know this is not a high end hotel but was very pleased with the service from Shay when checking in. Very friendly, efficient, and professional. The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our needs. Was so impressed with even the folding of the towels (extra effort like an expensive hotel) and the spotless bathroom. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very Pleased

Definitely an older hotel, but was super friendly and overall a great stay. I wish they had had a little bit better breakfast, but honestly it was a good one with waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, bread, and hard boiled eggs. Best part was the friendly front desk. We didn’t know our stay would end up in one of the busiest timeframes, so their friendliness made up for that!

Highly recommend for a quick budget friendly stay!

We were looking for a reasonable but clean place to stay. I was concerned because you are never sure what you will get.  We had booked as we were driving  based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. When I came in the woman at the desk was welcoming and looking around it looked very clean and tidy. We were tired from driving and I was hoping we didn't have to walk too far to our room. When I asked she said it's a bit of a walk and with a twinkle in her eye then pointed to the first room near the front desk. We asked for suggestions to eat and got lots of great information. Once we were in the room it was clean and comfortable--and all we needed. I asked the woman at the desk her name--Katya--because I wanted to make sure I did a review on this place. We had a quiet night's sleep and on the road. We liked this place so much that on our return we stayed here again. Katya wasn't on this time but the owners were and they were just as pleasant and the rooms clean and comfortable as before.

The Place To Stay in Cheyenne, Wyoming

Nice breakfast, close to the highway for an overnight stay. There was a tornado warning while we were there and they kindly let us huddle in their kitchen, the most enclosed space. Our room was clean and spacious. The inside is more impressive than the outside.

It ain’t fancy but that’s fine

Cheyenne Guest Inn is the absolute finest of plain-vanilla lodgings. You will have to request to borrow a hair dryer from the desk. There are no plush bathrobes in the rooms. But the rooms are immaculately clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is ample, and the beds are very comfortable. 

As a result of all this, the price is absolutely right. Don't be fooled by the reasonable price into thinking that this place is a dive.

Management runs a tight ship; you have to initial a long set of agreements about damages and general behavior upon checking in, but that's OK, because so does everyone else who stays here.  The other guests, at least today, are the kind of people you'd want to have in the room next door.

The welcome mat is rolled out for dogs but absolutely not for cats (which is probably an advantage for many dog owners).  It's located right at the center of the cloverleaf  at the intersection of I-80 and I-25, the first in a long line of motels at that junction. This is convenient for travelers and also an advantage for dog owners. 

The highways are elevated on a steep slope, and your dog can walk in a grassy meadow next to the motel that surrounds the base of an electronic sign visible from the highway. You aren't really aware of the Interstates or  of the train tracks across the street (if you ask for a room that doesn't face them).

We didn't use the pool or the laundry, but being stalled in Cheyenne by winter weather I made great use of the lobby. It's quiet and pleasant here. I will give it word-of-mouth recommendations to my friends.

Fine dog-friendly stay in a good location

I really enjoyed my stay! It was very easy to make my reservation over the phone. Front desk persons were great! My room was very clean, the towels are nice and thick. Slept well, mattress very comfortable. Close to train tracks but the train did not bother me. Next to an excellent Mexican Restaurant. Continental breakfast had something for everyone. Decorated for Christmas. Nice area in lobby to watch the news while eating. Older property but has been painted and is clean. You get the feeling you are welcome and appreciated. 

Very clean room and slept well.

My go to hotel when I’m in the area. Very accommodating and the staff make you feel like family. I love watching the trains go by. Beds are comfy, rooms are clean and the lounge area is set up family style. Easy to get to and the hotel is dog friendly.

We booked a room here last minute due to poor weather and road conditions and are very glad we did! The staff was amazing and the hotel was so cozy and comfortable and very clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Clean, cozy, and great staff!

Very prepared to help me feel comfortable with safety during Covid, but the staff were amazing and welcoming.  Everything was handled very professionally and I really appreciate that.  When I entered the room, I was impressed with the attention to detail and cleanliness of it.  I'd stay in this hotel again.

Very clean and the staff was excellent!

The woman who checked us in was very nice. I asked about late check out and she was kind enough to put us down for a 1pm late check out, which was wonderful because I needed to stay at the hotel with my two toddlers & newborn while my husband worked. I didn’t get out to the lobby in time for breakfast, but there was still food available when I did get out there. A staff member, Charles, saw me trying to get some food around for my two young kids while carrying my baby, he was very generous & fixed my children some oatmeal and got them orange juice. The hotel is very well loved, definitely some wear and tear, but overall it was clean and a comfortable stay, and the caring staff made it even better. Another staff member was good with our kids when we checked out. She let them watch her feed the fish in the lobby.
