Excellent place to stay. Rooms were sparkling clean and very spacious!  A extra sink and vanity outside the bathroom was a bonus. Large fridge and microwave in room. Located in a beautiful area with a grocery store and gas station right across the street. Very good continental breakfast to get you off in the morning. Excellent coffee. Many times hotels have watered down coffee - not here!  And the rate was extremely reasonable!  Highly recommend!  

Excellent - sparkling clean, spacious rooms!

We had a wonderful stay in this motel (think park your car outside your room) !  We had a two Queen room downstairs in building 2.  The room was huge with a desk, built in dresser unit, microwave, fridge, even an easy chair with an ottoman.  There is a  complete bathroom with tub/shower, toilet & vanity with sink then a separate large vanity & sink in the dressing room/closet area.  Ideal for a bunch of girlfriends traveling together (lots of mirrors 😆) or a small family.  The room was clean - they’ve installed LVT flooring so there’s no old, stained, stinky carpet! Yay! The bed & pillows were comfortable & it was super quiet!  We never heard a peep until 7 am when a neighbor started their car to leave.  The exterior may not seem all that inviting, but don’t let that sway you, it’s a comfortable stay at reasonable prices!

Great Stay!

We just spent one night here & we were pleasantly surprised!  While the exterior is rather worn & dated, the rooms have been nicely updated & renovated.  Both the room & the bathroom were clean & spacious.  There’s a second sink & vanity which is a plus as well.  The bed was comfortable.  We requested a room in the back building which is furthest away from the road & enjoyed a pleasant nights sleep.  Breakfast is included but we didn’t take advantage of that so can’t comment on it.

Pleasantly Surprised

I have stayed at Timbers several times, but after my last visit I decided to switch to Stewart (just one week later). I was glad I did. Timbers is located very close to railroad tracks, and I was awakened FIVE times by the train going by. At Stewart, I didn't hear a thing as it is further off the rr tracks.

Stewart is also a bit more updated than Timbers. I had a pet room at both places, and Stewart's floor was uncarpeted (but Timbers was). Didn't bother me. Also the Stewart had in room coffee and a hairdryer neither of which was available at Timbers.

Timbers has a small, partially fenced dog area. Stewart has a completely fenced run, sturdy enough to put your dog in there unleashed while you packed or unpacked your car.

I think what impressed me about Stewart was their response to not being able to serve a Continental Breakfast because of COVID. Timbers just had coffee in the lobby. Stewart gave me a "bag breakfast" with a banana and muffins and although it wasn't much it was nice that they recognized guests were missing a major amenity.

Pet fee was the same at both locations.

My future is at the Stewart even if it costs a bit more.

Worth the extra $ over Timbers

This place was clean, quiet and warm.  There was a lot of parking.  Only criticism is that the free breakfast only stays open till 9am, not the standard 10am.  Too early for us.   Guess that saves them money.

Perfectly good for the night

Ww stopped here on the way back from Leavenworth.
It’s a bit of a distance and be prepared for snow in the winter.
The lodge is well maintained with all the amenities needed. It was updated some time ago which can be seen and gives the rooms a welcoming feel.
Spaces rooms with even a sofa. The beds were really good. A large Tv and even a fridge to fill with your own goodies. Only thing, walls are a bit thin so we could gear every move of our upstairs neighbour. 

We had breakfast with them. Simple but good. Coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, bagels and even a fresh waffle maker. All you need is to start the day.
Not using disposable items like cutlery and plates, would have upgraded the feel.
Toaster needs looked at, as its note quite working. 

Overall: good sleep, good value for money. Can recommend any time 

Good sleep, good value for money 

This motel is just that. A place to sleep, shower and dip in a pool if you stayed in the summer. Typical continental breakfast to start your day. Very clean and well kept property. Would overnight there again.

Attended Wedding at Suncadia 

The rooms of Stewart Lodge are not bad. Everything was booked and this place was my third call. Manager worked with me on the price, as I can not pay above perdiem rates....much appreciated! Love the floors (no catpet) and the rooms were cozy. I would definitely stay at this place again if ever visiting the area for either work or pleasure. Rooms appeared to be recently renovated (Sept 2018) and I was pleasantly pleased. Thanks for a good stay!

Not bad!

Lots of reviews so I will make it short and to the point - there arent a ton of places to stay in Cle Elum so choices are not expansive. This was a half way for my adult daughter and to meet and spend some time together  We wanted to explore nearby Roslyn and then sit by the pool and relax and chat.  I chose this lodging because of the outdoor pool.  

Cons - 
The pool is unheated and sits 40 feet from the roadway with a chain link fence around it.  It is noisy and you are relaxing staring at traffic and a safeway.  It would be easy to throw up a privacy fence and make it a cute area.

There was absolutely NO shade or umbrellas so you are literally cooking under the hot sun with no escape but a freezing pool.

At night when things cooled off, we went out and were immediately bitten by 100's of mosquitos.

Had we known the condition of the pool we would have paid less to stay at the new hotel across the street (it was 50 cheaper a night).

The room has been renovated but the floors squeaked when we walked on them -loud and annoying.

The shower had mold in it.

Beds were not super comfortable.

Pros
across the street from a grocery store, coffee shops and a quick drive to the super cute town of Roslyn and 50 minutes to  picturesque Cooper Lake.

Easy to make reservations and they honored the online price.

Allowed early check in without any hassle.

Easy parking.

All told - this place is not worth 196 a night.

I would stay here again for 100-129 ish.



Not worth the money I paid

This is a decent place, though overpriced.  I stayed here the weekend that Central Washington was graduation and hotel rooms were hard to find.  It was not bad, but merely decent, and the $177 was too much.
