What a warm welcome!

We past 3 days and the experience was as positive as it may be. First the area is typicly Cape Cod compare to the big complexe near by, calm and inspiring. Than the suite: everything you need is there ..think you forgot something at home !! well open a drawer or wardrobe and you will find it.

The most important , ‘’Charlie’’ : he is the kind of human being that you want next door to your home; accomodating and service-minded. We are from Montréal and the first thing we heard at our arrival was  ‘Bonjour, je connais un peu de francais …’ a delicacy praised by two foreigners from an other country. He told me that his ancesters were Irish, so do mine so somewhere we belong to the same family.

What a warm welcome!

My cousin and I have the luxury of spending the tail end of a Friday-Friday rental in Dennisport with our extended family members. At the last minute today, we decided that we didn't want to leave quite yet. My cousin found this gem of a B&B by looking up local hotels. She called and had a brief conversation with the owner, Charlie, whom she immediately found to be be sweet and endearing. We decided to take a walk over. He offered to let us see the room first, and though we took him up on it, my cousin and I would have rented from this man on the spot. Charlie has a kind and generous soul that was evident within a minute. We rented the studio, which is very nice, cute, and affordable with a complete kitchen, living area, plenty of patio space, and outdoor seating available. You can walk across the street to go to the beach, and a handful of excellent restaurants are within walking distance. We would highly recommend staying at the Old Wharf Inn.

People like Charlie make this world a better place...

We were very pleased with our 2 night stay at this Inn. The owner is a very nice man who is willing to please. It is very clean & were just finishing re shingling the entire home. There is no maid service although that was not a problem. The walk to beach was very close & quite. He opens his home to you, showed us all the rooms, suite & efficiency apartment. Very reasonable prices, would recommend & re visit for sure.

We LOVED our stay at the Old Wharf Inn! This was our first visit to Charlie and Joan Tobin's Inn and it won't be our last! We found the inn on the internet and were intrigued by the positive reviews.  It is a B&B without the breakfast, but who needs breakfast with so many options a walk or short drive away!  The property itself is a home that has guest rooms and a few efficiency apts.  We stayed in room #3 -- an upstairs bedroom with double bed, air conditioner, microwave, mini fridge,tv AND ensuite bathroom. There were other bedrooms upstairs with us that shared a bathroom down the end of the hall. The inn is classic in decor-- reminded me of old New England charm. Outdoor space includes a shower, patio furniture, a sun deck, a clothes line for wet bathing suits, and lovely plantings around the home.  Raycroft beach is a 2 minute walk across the street and the Tobins offer beach chairs that guests can bring down to the beach. This is a perfect spot for couples (we are in our 50s). The Tobins are lovely people.  Their dedication to their home is very evident-- they strip beds and wash sheets and towels daily! It felt like we were staying in a friend's home vs. a motel/hotel. We love the Dennisport area too--- Wee Packet for breakfast, wolfies for coffee/pastries, AND Oyster Company for a fabulous dinner ( $1.25 oysters each day before 6:30 PM)! Overall, this was a wonderful place to experience Dennisport and lovely Cape Cod. if you are a couple open to being in a home-like environment with kind-hearted people just steps away from the beach/ocean, then this is the place for you!

Quaint, cozy Cape Cod escape perfect for couples!

I wasn't looking for a hotel or a B&B for my solo getaway. I wanted an efficiency so I could enjoy meals in if I chose to. It met my needs perfectly, plus it was Clean, comfortable &  had AC. 
Charlie and Joan couldnt have been kinder or more accomodating. The property makes you feel at home with individual privacy.   The location  was perfect as well. A half  block to the beach, (beach chairs included) an hour to Provincetown,  25 mm to Chatham and in the local vicinity of some great restaurants (wee packet & La Scala) and even live entertainment (sand dollar), So the Old Wharf inn seemed to suit my needs in more ways than just a place to sleep. I will most definitely return.
