Let me start by saying the staff from check in to check out was awesome.  If I had a question they answered if I needed something they took care of it.  The way you treat hospitality workers matter they take care of you will you are visiting.   They are not your maids or servants. They work for Wyndham  not you  They are there to ensure your staying comfortable! Dani and Ms Erletta I appreciate you! Awesome is not enoughto describe you ladies!

Wonderful  Staff

Clean room, friendly staff. We had a slight issue with our room. Spoke to staff, very willing to fix it and five us another room. We were very tired and declined the room but I was satisfied with the way they handled our situation. I will stay there again.

Nice hotel

The staff at this hotel were very helpful. I needed an accessible room for my 91 year old grandmother and they made it happen.  The rooms are very nice and clean.  The gym is the best I’ve seen in a hotel.  It has free weights, a peloton, kettle bells, mats, foam rollers and more. 

Great breakfast with lots of options including healthy ones.

Excellent hotel stay

I visited this hotel with my family for a vacation. The experience was excellent. Danny was the best. She was very professional, and such a pleasure to deal with. I honestly do recommend this hotel if you are looking for a very clean and friendly environment. I give 10 out of 5 stars. Danny thank you so much for being a sweetheart. You rock❤️

Best hotel stay ever

The room and bed were very clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good also. The approach to the hotel (grounds and parking lot) should be improved. The neighborhood is a bit run down, but they could make a statement by making it more welcoming. I thought it was great and a great price - but my husband only saw the approach and it made his rating much lower than mine. Only 1 chair in the room but the public area was very nice for eating carry out. Only a couple of cars in the lot on a Wednesday night. Restaurants and surrounding area pretty run down.  South Carolina in general was pretty overgrown/run down right from the southern border on I77. 

Clean and comfy room

Hi! After leaving a hotel in Atlanta where NOTHING was complimentary, it felt good to come to a clean hotel, with free Wi-fi, free breakfast, free pool and outdoor games & comfortable beds  Thank you Wyndham/Hawthorn Extended Stay!!!!!!!!

Quick & Easy ✔️ in!

Nice hotel, check in was problematic due to technical issues with the credit card machines and did not have any body wash in the room when we arrived but room service took care of it promptly and made sure we didn’t need anything else.  Fresh towels were delivered every day.  Breakfast was great and well supplied.

Comfortable and reasonable price

Solid renovated hotel with good pricing. Rooms small but clean, great atrium lobby space, solid internet.  Front staff was very helpful.  Very firm on checking in starting at 3pm.  Good access to the interstate.  Would stay again but request an indoor suite.

Solid hotel

The hotel and room were ok,.but nothing more.  The best features were the beds, they were  newer and very comfortable.  The worst features were the elevators,.they were painfully slow and there were no convenient stairs to use as an alternative.  The hotel.is old and on its way to being shabby.  Aside from the one efficient and pleasant staffer that checked me in at the front desk the staff is pretty bad.  The desk is rarely manned, the night clerk was  outside smoking and on his cell phone much of the time.  There was no one at the desk during check out only a plastic bin to drop the keys.   The cleaning staff were unpleasant and clearly uninterested in their jobs.  I overheard one employee telling another employee she refused to wear her name tag because they, meaning guests, don't need to know her name.  Overall the hotel is good for a night or two but not a destination or vacation properly.

Past it's prime

I agree completely with Alisha B.'s review above.  The concept of bringing the retro motel look inside just does not work.  Music plays in the lobby ALL NIGHT and bounces off the walls of the atrium.  We had to leave the fan on all night to block out the lobby noise.  And yes, you can hear doors slam at all hours.  

The staff was really nice and the room was clean and comfortable except for the bath/toilet area which while clean was in need of patchwork and cleaning.  In the room, there were cracks in the wall stucco, for a place that was updated only two years ago, it sure did not seem like it.
We skipped breakfast as we were ready to go in the morning, also skipped a shower due to rusty drain and cracks in the tile caulk.  Parking lot is also worn out and the motel is off a very busy road.  Could not recommend for anyone looking to get some rest.
