Check in was so fast after a super long drive, everything was ready for us. The staff were welcoming. The area was super clean and tons of information at the check-in. I loved the little cozy library as my family were swimming, I went to the library and relaxed.  The overall place is cozy, but it has such amazing views. Breathtaking views straight from your bedroom. This is a place you definitely revisit.

The units are older but everything was clean and in good shape.  It looked like they were working on units while we were there getting ready to update them.  The staff was very helpful and nice.  There is plenty of parking, the indoor pool was nice.

Friendly Resort Staff

I really enjoyed my stay at River View. The resort was very convenient for skiing at Sunday River in the morning, then lunch at the condo followed by a 5-6 mile hike in the afternoon. I did a different hike each day, all within a 15 minute drive. There is a grocery store close by plus several great take away options. There are also great choices for restaurants and brew pubs within a 10 minute drive. This is not a luxury resort, but has everything needed for an enjoyable stay at a terrific location. The resort staff members are very responsive if you do need any help. 

Great location for winter activities

Other than a few minor cosmetic issues the week went smoothly. Everyone was able to use the pool and friends and family had a great time. The staff here are friendly and accommodating with any issue or request. We will be back next year

Small, but accommodating

My son and I have been coming to River View for about six years now to ski Sunday River.  We love being so close to the mountain, and our little unit - while not at all "fancy," is comfy.  We've stayed up at The Jordan before, but nothing beats being with family in a shared space, and having our own kitchen is a HUGE plus.  There's also an indoor pool, and we always use the hot tub.  

Irene has been the manager for as long as we've been coming, and I was sad to learn that she'll soon be leaving.  She's done a good job, and is a lovely person.  We're hoping her replacement will be just as nice.

Can't Beat The Location

The property could use some updates, especially adding a dishwasher to units, and the web site should be updated to remove that fishing is accessible onsite when it isn’t. But the unit was spotlessly clean when we arrived, the staff were very courteous and helpful and the location was centrally located for lots of the local outdoor things to do. 

Dated decor but still a great place to see

This unit was less than 10 minutes from Sunday River which was our main reason for staying. The unit was clean and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. There is only 1 bathroom and with 3 people it would have been better to have a half bathroom. Also, the decor is outdated. 

Very helpful staff and clean unit.

The staff at The Riverview Resort was wonderful - friendly and happy to assist.  The accommodations were clean and comfortable albeit on the 'rustic' side - a bit dated in terms of the décor and appliances.  The pool and hot tub water were at perfect temperatures for the season (winter). This is not a top-shelf resort offering lux accommodations and services but it is an excellent value for the points used.

Riverview - A good value in a terrific location

Cozy and nice.  When we first booked, we figured it was a resort.  When you first pull up, it looks more like a motel.  However, we got into our 2 bedroom suite and we were pleasantly surprised.  Everything you need is  there, and the view is spectacular from the deck.  Appliances could use an upgrade, like a higher watt microwave or a more modern oven and fridge.  But those appliances needed were there.  The pool was really nice- it’s indoors and has a little hot tub that both had the perfect temp.  The pool water was very clean!! The pool lining could be replaced but the water was so clean we didn’t care and there’s a deep end too- so if you have little ones bring floaties.  We went in august and on Mondays and Tuesdays Bethel businesses are closed.   There are a couple cute restaurants in town.  And the gem museum!! If you have kids take them to the gem museum- the whole 2nd floor has space rocks and u get to hold a rock from mars and the moon and touch another that’s 7 billion years old.  That was our highlight of the trip.

Lastly, if your lucky you get Irene at the front desk who was very very nice and sweet!!!  She was so helpful and let us know what was good in town to go to.  She gave us maps which were helpful too cause gps doesn’t work in some areas.  

Bethel is a quiet cute town and River view resort  was surprisingly charming and cute little place to stay.  

Overall we enjoyed our stay, and had a nice time.  Thank you!

Small and quaint- great indoor pool and view

We were in the area for a couple days and decided to give this place a try.  We had a two bedroom that had a kitchen and large living room.  The mattress was a bit soft but actually comfortable.  The place was clean and everyone working there was friendly.  I would not hesitate to return.
