We have stayed at Spring Garden Inn several times over the last few years. It’s always wonderful!! Check in is super easy and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We have been both upstairs and downstairs and both are nice. I absolutely love the screen doors - it’s so nice to have fresh air while relaxing in our room! The garden and grounds are beautiful. We love our annual visit to the area. Thank you so very much!

Relax in the garden!

Such a quaint place! Very peaceful and just what we needed after being in NYC! Rooms were comfortable and had a great view of garden area. Highly recommend if you are in the area and close to Plymouth.

Quaint and peaceful!!!!

The spring garden inn was a highlight of our cape cod vacation. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. The grounds were BEAUTIFUL, overlooking a classic cape cod creek view. Don’t let the “motel” label deter you, the rooms were pristine and full of light, giving you a coastal cottage feel. Complimentary pastries, juice, fruit, and freshly brewed coffee were served each morning. The location was fantastic, just down the street from the sandwich glass museum, heritage museum, flea markets, restaurants, and beaches. The affordability of this inn was what drew us in and we were just blown away at how nice it ended up being. We will definitely be returning and I could not recommend this place enough.

Intimate Coastal Cottage 

Third time here. We love this place. The rooms are great for the price and the proprietors are friendly and helpful. Folks bring your binoculars. We’ve seen heron, egret, osprey, geese, and two swans flying like they are 747s. I’m able to set up and paint. It’s right on 6A and convenient to everything on the Cape.

We keep coming back

The owner of this motel is so kind! The rooms and clean and the views are beautiful! It was so peaceful while I was there. I was flying solo and felt completely safe and comfortable. I would definitely return!

Great stay

My friend and I stayed for one night on the way to P-town. Such an adorable and majestic little hotel! The owners were super accommodating to us coming late in the evening. Adorable room and amazing little deck. At night it was magical!!  Breakfast and coffee in  main lobby in the AM.

Love this little Gem

I used the Spring Garden Inn as a place to stay as I transitioned to a new job on Cape Cod, prior to moving there. The motel is a beautiful survivor of a different era, when travel was relaxed and the roadside motel one chose provide peace and a sense of place. The grounds that face the salt marsh are lovely, with mature landscaping, flower gardens, and comfortable Adirondack chairs.

All that stated, this motel has been gently updated to keep up with the times and modern tastes. The housekeeping staff is friendly and the room was meticulously cleaned.

Lovely Nostalgic Motel

My wife and her sister just stayed in Sandwich on a business trip. It was everything they expected. Clean comfortable and convenient. The owner was very nice and they have kayaks for guests to glide through the marsh. Rustic with beautiful grounds and lovely views. The price was good for business but spend some time if you go. It’s just over the bridge and close to all the Cape has to offer.

I have stayed in other motels in the Sandwich area before, but this is definitely my favorite. My mobility is somewhat limited, but it was fairly easy to get up the two steps to Room #3 on the upper level. From there - and especially from the balcony - we had a beautiful view of the salt marsh. The grounds were immaculately kept, and there were plenty of chairs and a swing for guests to sit on, a grill, room to run for the kids and a wooden walkway to the marsh. In other words - something for everybody!
The furniture was a bit oldfashioned, but everything was very clean, and all the amenities - TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer - were provided. The shower was especially nice and strong. A free continental breakfast with coffee/tea, juice, fruit and pastries was also offered.
The noise from Route 6A was not as bad as I had expected, and there was little traffic at night. All in all a wonderfully calming and relaxing place which makes me want to return!

A Small Piece of Paradise!

We stayed one night en route to a week on Marthas Vineyard,  just as a jumping off point so we could travel easily and not have to race to make Ferry time. 
We had 3 rooms, all were clean and comfortable.  Manager was very friendly,  place isn't some overpriced and overrated "luxury" inn. Very very affordable,  and a great base spot to explore the Western  Cape , lots of nice galleries,  food, etc nearby.  Seriously the best lodging value i have experienced in New England in years, especially Cape Cod.
