This hotel was reasonably priced, clean and easy to find! The check in area had a weird smell however don't let that put you off as the room didn't! Check in assistant was very helpful and friendly. Would not mind staying here again for a night when on a budget. 

Fine for a budget hotel

My friend and I stayed here two nights while we attended a women's convention in St Louis.  The motel is in a bad part of town.  A couple we met told us they were picked up by the police while they were out for a walk, who told them if they walked further west on Collinsville Rd, they wouldn't have come back alive.  Apparently  there are some very dangerous areas in St Louis.

The motel manager was oblivious to our request for a functioning hairdryer, more clean towels, and that the bathroom fan smelled like burning metal and made a sound like it was broken.  The phone in the room did not work.  The bathroom floor and walls were dirty.

If I had known this, I would never have booked this room.  

I had tried to book a major chain hotel, but everything was booked.  If I ever go back to St Louis for an event, I will try to book a good hotel way in advance or stay further out near the airport.  

Not like the pictures

Do not stay here. When you forget items in your room the staff keeps them. When I tried to contact the front desk they hung up the phone when I tried to contact them about said lost items. Terrible service and terrible morality.

TERRIBLE

PLEASE READ THIS!!! I came to St. Louis with my friend for a concert, and being college students, we chose this hotel because it was the cheapest. HUGE mistake. The location is awful, there was a man on the sidewalk outside that stared us down as we went into the office. The office is uncomfortably hot, I had to leave as it was making me feel dizzy. There was no one at the front desk and it took about 5 minutes for anyone to come out even after ringing the bell. The attendant said she never got our reservation and said she only had a one bed room available (when we reserved a two bed three weeks ahead of time). We took it, and we were charged the same amount as a two bed, and when I questioned it she said they were both the same price (???) seemed fishy. Then she said her card machine didn’t work so we had to use cash and she gave me incorrect change, but I just wanted to get the h*ll out of there. We got up to our room and there was a child in the next room screaming and crying for about two hours and then it resumed when we got home. It seemed super sketchy, and when we got back from the concert, we were approached my a woman who was barefoot and she asked us for cash because she had nowhere to go. We said we had no money and quickly went up to our room. It was super hot compared to when we left and it absolutely reeked like mildew. All of the tiles is the bathroom were rotting and loose, and there were toothpaste remnants in the sink before we got there. We looked under the bed and there were thousands of dead bugs and other debris underneath, like they swept it under there instead of cleaning it. We promptly packed and left, it was completely unbearable and a huge waste of money. We ended up driving 5 and a half hours back home to Manhattan because we had no other choice. Absolutely terrible.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Me and my boyfriend are doing Route 66 on a budget and made the wrong choice to stay here, the rooms are clean enough but as we drove up to the building we saw many shady looking guys sitting outside their doors watching us as we checked in, the check in desk had bullet proof glass, we got to our room and as we walked up to our room they started shouting at us, after being in our room for half an hour we got a very drunk man knock on our window and doors, at that point I wanted to leave as it was around midnight and I felt unsafe, my boyfriend opened the door and i had to push past this man as he tried to block me inside the room, we walked briskly to the car where we were followed by him and his friend kept shouting out things to us and we drove off and didn't come back, we phoned the reception who called the police, if you are a solo lady traveller please do not consider this!
