Loved this place, sweet quaint little town, only approx. 8 miles from Deep Creek. Room was large and VERY clean. The friendly couple that owns the motel are wonderful,they recommended a restaurant up the street that was great! We can't wait to go back! 

Romantic Getaway!

The motel itself was nice for the price. It was a clean room, hot shower, cable tv, heater worked well. Mini fridge worked well. The microwave and tv are dated but still work perfect. Late check in was easy. We were able to park right outside our room which was nice. There are 2 places to eat just over the bridge next to the river. We came during the off-season so unfortunately they were not serving breakfast. There is a pub nearby open on the weekends, looked like a lot of locals went there. 
The town itself is small and quiet. There were people walking around in the town often. I felt safe walking through the town but unfortunately I had a camera stolen within 10 minutes of me setting it up for a time lapse of the sunrise. Luckily the state troopers were able to retrieve it quickly after I gave a vehicle description but they warned me that this town was not the place to have valuable things out in sight.
Motel was worth the price and made a weekend getaway very affordable.

Basic Motel in Small Town

Needed to spend the day till 10PM and this place did what I needed. They had a micro fridge, shower, bath and hairdrier.. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but for the bux it worked well enough and the pillows fit my head. There was not a phone in the room, but there were plenty of outlets. I had a problem wit the cable and the clerk came down and fixed it for me.The place was very dated too.

Cheapest around

This motel is the worst place I have ever stayed. Mould growing on the walls, the entire floor under an inch of dust, and clearly unwashed bedsheets. The other customers were vile  and one of their kids kept knocking on our door

Disgraceful

First of all, let me clearly state: I am a guy who is pretty chill when it comes to staying in motels. I booked this place fully expecting a bare-bones experience -- just wanted a clean room where I could get a good night's sleep before an event that was taking place in the area.

But I didn't get it. The "non-smoking room" reeked of smoke -- including the bed and bed coverings -- to the point where it gave me a headache and interrupted my sleep. Free wi-fi promised; no wi-fi. Microwave promised; no microwave. The small coffeemaker had just one packet ... of decaf coffee (which I discovered in the morning, when I needed the full-caf stuff). The room was dirty; I found several dead bugs on carpet.

I would not stay there again, and would recommend you avoid it.

Stay Somewhere Else

Beds was horrible, almost would have been better sleeping on the floor with a folded up sleeping bag. Floors was dirty, spilled water on the floor and grabbed a washcloth to dry. When I did the washcloth came up black. TV only half worked right, it would just every few minutes "black out" and kinda flicker before coming back on. I would recommend that no one stay here.
