Work

First of all, this is not a luxury hotel,  If you want a pool, spa center, a fresh  cooked hot breakfast bar and all the rest, look elsewhere and pay as much for a day as this place charges for a week,  But if you want a clean, spacious room with a comfortable bed, this is it.  Robert at the front desk greeted me by name after the first day. When a minor error was made (and anywhere can make one) he fixed it immediately.  Everything in the room was spotless.  The location is convenient to everything but secluded and quiet.  Will definitely be back.

Great stay

I had to be near Shands hospital to be with my daughter after her surgery. It was convenient to Uber back and forth, saving money from being at a hotel closer to the hospital. Robert and the staff made my stay less stressful. Robert was very accommodating and gave great restaurant recommendations. I brought my daughter to the hotel when she was discharged to recuperate a few days before she went home. He always asked about her and made sure we knew to ask him if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend Woodspring Suites Gainesville I-75!

Nice place away from home

Jasmyn Dixon is a great employee she knows every single guest that comes in!! She is always smiling! She even came and fixed my television for me !! I have never seen such an amazing spirit at the front desk. I recommend this hotel because she will make sure you feel at home!

My visit

Booked at a great price on discount site.  Room was clean.  Included a full fridge, sink, microwave and cooktop.  Rooms are very secure as you need a key to gain access to anywhere.  If you have a guest visit, you have to let them in. Location was in a decent area right off of I-75.

Customer service was excellent.  Serita was wonderful and accommodating.  She personally brought up extra pillows.

Perfect for the price!

This was a nice hotel. 

PROS: excellent location, clean room (with fridge and microwave), great rates, accommodating staff, friendly fellow guests 

CONS: Noise! Interstate noise, fridge noise, A/C noise, neighbor noise (TV, voices). It's an assault on your ears. 

Our recommendation: try to get a room on the other side of the highway, if possible. Also, try to get a room on the third floor. This way you won't hear guests walking around, bathroom fans, etc. Otherwise, you may want to invest in a set of earmuffs and/or ear plugs. That's what we did, and it made all the difference.

Sufficient for Daily, Weekly, or Monthly Stays

Affordable place to stay during Gatornationals when every room in town is booked. Extended stay, so it has a kitchenette. Very handy. Very clean room. Very comfortable bed. Just off I75 but VERY quiet. Good shower. Close to good restaurants and Publix. How can you beat that?

Nice clean basic hotel!

The front desk staff at check-in was friendly and professional. The room had a musty odor, but was clean. Beds were small, but comfortable. Toilet seat was broken. Breakfast was the norm, offering standard fair with very few healthy options. Pool looked clean and inviting, though we didn’t have time to use it. Parking lot had a lot of trash. Close to fast food restaurants, Starbucks and Dunkin. It’s definitely a motel and over priced at $115. We only stayed one night and it was fine for that short stay. I would not stay for anything longer than that.

Kudos to our desk clerk, Alexander, for suggesting a fourth floor room 2 down from the elevator might be the quietest! It was, also being on the opposite side of I-75.

We booked this place for its location close to I-75 and for the fact that, though there was no breakfast, there was a kitchen. Foolishly, we thought there might be some basic dishes included, but no. Even a couple paper plates and bowls would be appreciated. That and some ice. Yes, we had ice cube trays in the freezer, but they were EMPTY and we asked for ice at the desk, but came up empty. So we had to have our cocktails “neat”.

Room was clean and beds comfortable, so no complaints there. Next time we stay here for a night, I guess we'll bring our own ice and dishes?

Not a “Perfect” Stay

The facility was clean.  The room was clean.  No complaints with any of that. 
The location is good.  Access is easy.  The price was acceptable. 
This is not a “normal” hotel where people might be there for just a few days.  It is an extended stay facility.  Plus, you need to supply all your own toiletries, and dinnerware should you want to eat in. 
But, I think I found where Bigfoot might be hiding.  There must not be a lot of sound insulation between floors. 
I always make a conscious effort to walk quietly so as not to disturb those on the floors below.  I couldn’t walk without making noises that made me cringe.   
The stomping from people walking on the floor above us literally made things inside our room rattle. 
It went on almost continuously between 0200 and 0500 the last night we were there.  We were there five nights and never got a decent night’s sleep due to the noise. 
It didn’t sound like it was just the room above us, but also in the hallway.  
If I was to go back, I would specify a room on the top floor. 
For an extended stay hotel, there were no comfortable chairs in the room.  There were two plastic hard back chairs that are back-numbing.
