We were anxious to get out of the Big D for the 4th. We chose Graham because of their Kiwanis'  Pancake Breakfast and the parade around the square. Although skeptical from the street, we had a great stay at the Gateway. The outside definitely needs some TLC. Our room had new wood floors and new furniture, was very clean and pretty. The pool was clean and we enjoyed swimming. Connie at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The chain hotels were twice much. This fit our purpose just fine. 

Fourth of July getaway 

Have sent my employees to stay at this hotel a couple of times in the past month.  They have been very pleased with both the staff and the rooms here.  When I call, the clerks have always been helpful and have gone out of their way to accommodate us, even on short notice.  The price is well worth the stay.

Gate-Graham

I had originally booked this hotel online and ended up with a change of plans and had to cancel. Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication, and my credit card was still charged. After contacting the hotel, I spoke with Connie and together we were able to come up with a solution to the problem. I have not stayed at this hotel or seen the interior of it, but Connie was helpful and willing to remedy the situation. I appreciate her generosity and  great customer service!

I booked through Priceline and didn't realize what I had paid for until I walked in the room to find an air freshener hanging from the headboard post! No hot water, room smelt of cat urine. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $$$$ to get a better room.

I am originally from Graham and have stayed at Gateway several times visiting relatives.  I have been pleased UNTIL a couple of weeks ago...I wanted to call or write the manager, but obviously it wouldn't have done any good....we had very little coffee, no cream or sugar...the sheets were wrinkled and the mattress cover had some unknown substance on it.  The room wasn't ready when we got there (or never) even though the desk clerk had assured us it would be.  I hate to see this  place go soooo far down the drain, but we won't be staying there again.  It was noisy and dirty!!!
