Breakers by the Sea was a very nice place to stay.  Clean, friendly and the room was spacious and quite well equipped with amenities.  Staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating.  Will surely return!


We stayed for 3 nights this past weekend. The owner was very accommodating, the housekeeping was immaculate in detail and the girls were also very friendly and met us with smiles. Its a small beach hotel, I almost felt the vibe of a Bed and Breakfast with the staff and homey décor. Double bonus, it is Veteran Owned.  I really have not one complaint, I tried to think of one, but there just isn't. If your expecting the Ritz, this place isn't for you. Mom and pops, come as strangers, leave as family type of atmosphere.

Above Our Expectations

Ate at Breakers last night.  Our waiter ZAC went above and beyond.  He was very friendly, always with a smile.  He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us top notch Service.  Zac was very attentive and courteous.  Next time I go there to eat I will make sure to ask for ZAC as our waiter.

My mom and I headed down to Breakers for dinner the Friday Night of Labor Day Weekend. The food was good, cocktails and wine were a great compliment to Pop song bingo, and Daniel was a fantastic host for the night. He helped us pick great cocktails and menus items and was super fun. Highly recommend.

Really nice place. Full sized fridge, great tile showers and comfy beds! Parking right out front and right next to the beach (so easy to walk back and forth from the beach throughout the day). Northern end of the beach so also walking distance to the surf zone!

Couples-Friends Vacation

The staff was wonderful!!! I cant say enough good things about them. I stayed with my 3 kiddos and had friends staying in another room at this hotel. Parking is across the street which wasn't a hassle. Beach is next to that. Its further up the beach so was quieter then another place I stayed last year. Well be back again next time :)

Perfect place for weekend get away

Booked via Hotels.com for 109$US plus tax per night for 4 nights. Was staying with my sister.

Arrived around dinner time, and was provide a room on basement floor with 2 double beds, kitchennette, big bathroom with shower, smaller LCD TV ( i did connect my roku), no view (the window was facing an alley in the back of motel)...we knew this and expected it. We were just there to sleep without being gouged. No maid service due to COVID still.

They do have free parking in municipal parking in front of motel (clearly marked) and provide a parking permit. Since my sister as an handicap tag, we were allowed to park in the actual parking of the motel.

Since its off the main boardwalk, there are plenty of options within a short drive (we didnt walk given my sister's limitations); We used the kitchenette pretty much every morning to make breakfast. 

And the beach is less than 5 minutes walk from door to beach. Very impressed.

Economical option  in Hampton Beach

Great location right across from the beach!  The room was clean and the owner Steve was super nice and very accommodating!  Plenty to do with most venues within walking distance.  Will definitely be back next Summer!

Girls Weekend

We stayed in the room above the office facing the ocean. Great view. The room has a king size bed that takes up the majority of the space so it’s a little tight. One issue is there is a smoking area just below so we had to keep our sliding door shut the entire time. We have been staying here on/off for the last ten years. People used to be able to smoke outside their own rooms and the smoke wasn’t concentrated in one area like it is now. Great management and very helpful staff. 18 spaces to park for free just across the building.

Our family stayed here last year in an Ocean View Deluxe room and had a pleasant stay.  This year we stayed in a side ocean view room with a much different experience.  We had been told our room would be on the top floor, but were given the lower level instead.  The floor creaked so terribly we were awoken by 6:30 am both mornings to what sounded like a walking marathon taking place over our heads.  We heard every footstep. We arrived to a filthy towel left hanging in the bathroom and coffee grinds in the coffee maker.  We brought the towel down to the office (since there was no phone to call down) and the manager at the desk was very apologetic.  On our second day housekeeping left us an envelope for a tip--for bringing a fresh set of towels as no cleaning took place. The trash wasn't even emptied.  The "set of dishes and silverware" consisted of 2 large and small plates, 2 bowls, 4 coffee cups, and a large serving spoon.  There was one floor lamp in the entire room.  No lamps by the beds or anywhere else.  The light in the bathroom also controlled the lights over the sink outside of the bathroom, so you couldn't turn on the bathroom light without lighting the sink area.  The beds were uncomfortable and creaked horribly if anyone moved.  The pillows and towels were fair.  It looks like some upgrades had been made as the flooring and sink areas looked new.  There was a large water stain on the ceiling above the shower.  Our room smelled like cigarette smoke as people would smoke on the porch outside of our room and the smell came through our slider. The front desk staff was pleasant.  I would only consider staying here again if we had an upper level ocean view deluxe room, which is larger and has been upgraded. Otherwise, we will pass and stay elsewhere.
