The staff were friendly, informative and helpful.  The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel was just as we would expect. The location is convenient to town. Best sleep I had after a long day of travel.  Thank you for a great experience.

Great Service!

Right next to hills, place is too good. Ambience is great. Good options for food and fitness(pool/gym). Breakfast was great and the cleanliness in the room was very good. Bathroom is maintained clean. 

Wonderful place

You can always trust that a Hampton/ Hilton will be consistent, clean and updated with a fabulous breakfast at a reasonable price! The staff was cheerful and very attentive! You get your money’s worth at these hotels!  Thank you so much, Brownie & Deb

Absolutely Awesome Updated Hotel


my experience was unique the excellent service the unique employees I recommend them to everyone. As for the employees who clean the rooms very polite and helpful, those at the front desk are the best Jeyson and Jabob giving the extra mile for the guests I am going to stay for a period of 3 to 5 or 6 months. Why? They are a family of professionals. I return to Kentucky on vacation and use your facilities. Thanks for everything, Zoe Doval.


My experience awesome

I have been staying at this Hampton annually for a long time.  Everyone is cordial and helpful, and it is my go to for accommodations.   The complimentary breakfast is more than adequate (and if people wouldn't hoard food in their pockets as they exit the are, then the next people wouldn't complain - oh we are First World complainers now aren't we), and the coffee is delicious always. 

Top notch!

We stopped & stayed at this hotel after we had developed car trouble on our way to a funeral in Virginia. The room was clean, bed was comfy and the breakfast was good with hot waffles, egg omelets, sausage biscuits and gravy. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub as well. It was nice to have an Applebee’s restaurant within walking distance to have a meal for dinner.

An unexpected visit to Hazard, Kentucky

The Hampton Inn and suites in Hazard was a great place. The rooms were cleaned upon request, the hotel staff members on day and night shift were friendly and always greeted me. Anytime I had questions or any small issues they were able to help me quickly! Great stay!

Very clean hotel, decorated nicely, welcoming staff, ok breakfast.. the room was very clean, the lobby was very welcoming and decorated nicely for Christmas.. free wifi, good signal. Would definitely stay again

Clean and convenient

My family and I recently spent the weekend at this hotel and it was a great weekend! The hotel rooms were spotless and the staff were so friendly. I had a suite on the first floor and it was very spacious. I never usually care for rooms on the first floor but this room was amazing and I did not hear any noises outside of my room! 

Excellent Stay

I took my mom to her 56 High School reunion in the area and chose to stay at the Hampton Inn in Hazard. First because of Hilton's usual excellence service and hotel. I will say that the check-in was a breeze and Jarrett was really sweet. He did all he could to try and help me out with the few situations that popped up (nothing major or that couldn't be resolved). In our room our microwave didn't function properly, I reported it, of course it was late and didn't ask for an immediate fix. I just used the one downstairs in the breakfast area. As for the rest of the room it was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the breakfast. To begin nothing was stocked. I get that the hotel had a lot of people staying, but the area looked to be lacking. The counters had not been wiped down. Food was out of stock and I never saw them bringing more out. The waffle station was a hot mess. The waffles were sticking, because they didn't set the spray out. Not to mention the waffle batter was a little too thick for coming out of the dispenser and for pouring out of the cup. The drink dispenser had the lines crossed or they put the wrong sign over the spigot. I went to apple juice and got strawberry kiwi water. There was not bread for toast, not biscuits and the gravy was like water. They did have eggs and sausage and yogurt. The cereal was empty as well. I did talk with the person inside the breakfast area and they did bring me a box of cereal.
