location excellent, price very reasonable, very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, although a bit hard to understand, their english not so great, but very good people.  some street noise but tolerable.  had microwave, refridgerator, good tv channels, bed firm like I like.  Dennys very close, convenient to everything.  would definitely return again.  not luxury motel, but very good for what I paid.

good stay at right price

i have stayed there a few times, over the summer he had a cleaning lady, she did a wonderful job, spotless rooms. i dont understand why he didnt let her keep working there, now it smells like cigarettes, walls are filthy, mirrors are filthy just horrible.

looks are deceiving

The manager/owner of this drab place threw out several thousand dollars worth of valuable items with ZERO attempt to contact me when I had an accident and couldn't retrieve my bags just yet. And he simply gives no cares whatsoever.

Also, walks into your room unannounced!

Avoid at all costs.

Unless you're a strung out junkie, or running from the law, DO NOT STAY HERE. I'm tempted to go sleep in my car. The entire hotel absolutely REEKS of cigarettes, despite being a 'smoke-free hotel'. Lucky me, I'm in a 'smoke-free room', but I can assure you, the whole place reeks. I travel a lot and really don't need much out of a hotel, but this is hands down the worst hotel I have ever seen. I would never come back, places like this shouldn't even exist. I can't believe I just wasted 50 dollars.

DISGUSTING, STAY AWAY

After arriving in Herkimer we ended up staying here since there was no rooms at any of the other hotels. We should have stayed in our car!! Expensive for what you do not get! Smells of smoke, shady people hanging around, tv did not work and manager could not get it to work. Doors slamming all night, people in parking lot and entrance smoking and drinking, Screaming and yelling all night including the manager.  Trains constantly going by, Highway noise.Possible shady deals going on here.  If you want a peaceful night's stay go to the next town if Red Roof does not have a room!!

Stay in your CAR!!

I had just gotten back to town and we were in the process of moving.  My husband and I stayed there and I was in shock.  The place smelled like pungent old mildew and a mixture of dead animals.  Well my husband left for work there during the day and I would be left alone.  I was sleeping in the smelly made you want to puke bed with the worst bedding I have felt and the guy would knock like one tap for no reason and barge into the room.  I had this happen several times.  He stood in my room and all I had on was the sheet MY SHEET (I used my own  bedding)  I was in shock he stood there talking to me I couldn't understand him which was fine but the fact that I was naked with only a sheet and he had no reason to be in my room.  He only came to the room when my husband was at work and it got to the point where I was in tears if my husband would leave I felt violated he wouldn't stop.  My husband and I went straight to the Inn Towne Motel and never looked back.  My husband had to tell the guy do not go to our damn room for any reason ever again until we are out.  It was a frigging horror story.  To this day I am affected by it.  He didn't come to clean it only to look at me.  Oh and to top that off my husband and I have been together four five years.  Never stayed a night away from one another.  He tried to ruin my marriage!  We couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV and had the guy come in.  It says he offers plasma and WiFi.  He had the big old box tvs and doesn't get any channels!  Well he said oh you should know how you been here before with different guys!  Never been there before in my entire life nor would I go back if I was paid thousands, millions, billions!!  I am horrified that this man is allowed to own a hotel.  I am shocked he isn't in jail for this crap.  He is the most predatory man I have ever had the disgrace of meeting and I would be scared to be raped, touched or killed there. The bathrooms were like those you would find in a jail.  No coffee he took his own pot and put it in picture.  He tried to get me to Help carry the to the garbage.  He bothered me only when my husband left.  He lurked in hallways asking me where I was going when ever I would leave.  He steals WiFi from Dennys.  I caught him writing his own review.  He has drunks outside being loud nightly. He offers guests five dollar discounts to write good reviews.  As soon as the inn Towne opened up I went there.  I sadly had to stay there a few days.  I should have slept outside it would have been safer. This guy is a predator watch tour women and children.  Don't ever leave them alone.  He also tried to get us to leave before check out at nine am because he had Guests coming! WE LEFT AT ELEVEN SO WE WOULDN'T HELP HIM.  I HAD HIS SHEETS OFG BED AND ISED MI NE AND HE ASKED IF I WAS STEALING THEM ARE YOU KIDDING I WOULDN'T EVEN USE THEM.  YUCK BEWARE. And the smell!!!!  Oh my God he must have a dead body or two hidden in there.  Total freak of nature.  Please women do not go there whatever you do.  Don't bring children.  Go to the inn Towne I have a review there telling you about it.  It is amazing.  This hotel is deplorable!! I have never cried and been scared of a man like I was him.  I felt violated.  Stop this man.

Beware SEXUAL harassment, Smelly, mean man, big box TV,  jail bathrooms and he writes his own reviews!!  STAY AWAY!!!
