What was good

It was right downtown, in the middle of things. After a long drive, we were happy to be able to walk around! We walked to two great restaurants, the visitor center, and just around town to enjoy the architecture. OMG! I think this is the best hotel I have stayed in for quite a while-- at a much lower price. The bed was comfortable (although a little high); the bathroom was large and attractive; the decor was pleasant. My only gripe: like all other hotels I've stayed in over the last few years, Hotel Indigo uses the sheet-duvet-sheet method for bed coverings. I always find the duvet too hot (even after I turned my AC way down!), and have to struggle a bit to get it out from between the sheets. I would much prefer a light blanket. The room has a wonderful selection of varied pillows, and it would be great if that system could be adopted re blankets too. Nothing to add -- the room, bathroom, and hotel were very clean! The staff was uniformly warm, friendly, and knowlegeable. They all seemed really happy to be of service.
