Great location for getting to the East and West entrances to Pinnacles National Park.   Very nice staff.  Overall a standard no-frills Motel 6 (no breakfast, no safe, and no Kleenex).  The bedroom looked like it was recently renovated. The bed was comfortable.  The bathroom was a  little beat up.  The room had a refrigerator and microwave.  No place to sit except the one uncomfortable desk chair.  Overall an above average Motel 6.

Good Place To Stay For Pinnacles National Park

Basic rooms but that’s all we needed. Price fits what you get. Room was clean however there was a used fake eyelashes stuck to the remote! Other than that no issues. Hotel close to fast food. A number of stray cats hand around the motel but don’t cause an issue. Would stay again.

EXCELLENT LOCATION.
walking distance to multiple fast food places and gas etc..Right off the hwy.
Minimum necessities.
Had to ask for soap and extra toilet paper.  What hotel doesn’t provide a small bar of soap?  Towels are paper thin.
Pool was dirty and full of leaves.
EVERY single chair poolside was dirty and broken.
One gets what one pays for….

Great location / Minimum necessities 

We stayed here for one night while on vacation. It was clean. It's typical of what you would find at a Motel 6. The shower worked well. It was a minimal hotel with minimal amenities that worked for us for one night. Its price was a bit higher than other Motel 6s we stayed at while on our vacation. 

Average Motel 6

The first thing that hits you is the old hotel smell, that's because it is. I would have expected better for the price, but it is what it is.  The room was clean, which is a plus, but you can tell that it's time to replace the bedding and towels.
As someone mentioned the pool was dirty and nowhere close to the size that the picture makes it seem.
I won't say don't stay here, but just be aware.

Not the best, not the worst

Old property with well below average rooms, beat up parking lot and overall run down property. The neighborhood is safe as other modern hotels are nearby. Unusual checkin with the man handling this had food on his shirt in several places and kept a flossing stick in his mouth throughout checkin. He would periodically floss his teeth while processing check in. Not good.

Two Star Rating Solely For $110 One Night Lodging Price

Though room was clean, pool unusable, bathroom shower fluctuated temp., sink faucet not securely affixed to the sink, room was at 82 degrees upon entry, fire detector had no battery, room refrigerator door hinges broke, etc.

Trip

Most uncomfortable bed I've tried to sleep on in a long time.  The room while rather spartan, was clean.  No breakfast available, and the closest restaurants didn't open until 8.  There are other motels which do provide breakfast and I would recommend staying in one of those.  The staff was OK, but what appeared to be the Manager was a real hardcore who shouldn't ever be allowed to interface with customers.  Worst I have ever come across.

Not So Good!

Jan 29, 2024 rented a room at Motel 6 for the first time in King City, CA ($80 cash) at approx. 6:20pm. At 7:33pm, sent photo's to a family member showing bugs, fly poop above the bed, dirty bathroom, dirty air filters, torn sheets. Jan 30, spoke with location at 9:50am (Clarice who was GREAT) and emailed photo's, she said cleaning staff was coming in at 10am, they'll get that room taken care of. Had to wait for Mgr. to call. At 330pm, called Bobby, he said nothing wrong with the room (which they had probably already cleaned so he wouldn't see it!), but he can't explain how I would have pictures of the room within less than an hour after checkin.  I considered sleeping in my truck it was so disgusting while I stare at the ceiling with an alarm covered in fly crap. I slept with my clothes on and the pillow inside of a tshirt because it was so bad! No shower, it was NASTY. I couldn't get out of here fast enough, the next one I booked was almost the same – I just want a clean, decent hotel – is that too much to ask? I want my $80 cash reimbursed, Mgr Bobby is a Bass without the B. Location was great, cleanliness, non existent. I just want my money back Motel 6!

SLEEP IN YOUR VEHICLE! Bugs, Fly Poop, Torn Sheets, Dead Flies

The 1st room we were given had dried urine on the toilet seat. I lifted the lid to find urine and feces on bottom of the seat. No hand towels to dry my hands, and both face cloths were dirty! Given 2nd room, went to sleep only to be woken by the manager pounding on the door demanding we open up and wanting to know how we got in that room and what my name was. He was screaming at me when I refused to open up and told him I had no way to know if he was the manager or not. He left only when I threatened to call the police. I called the front desk and was told that the manager had gone to my room because there was a mix up with their computer! He finally got on the phone and apologized for "the mistake" when the clerk explained the situation to him. I have never, ever been treated this way as a paying guest (over $100 for this no less). Honestly we were so shaken we couldn't sleep and we should have been given our money back!
