Napili is always a beautiful place to gather with family and friends, amazing sunsets, lots of water activities-snorkel, paddle board, swim and surf. Accommodations make it easy to prepare dinner and enjoy the star filled evenings with lots of space for adults to mingle and for children to play. Love this special piece of paradise💕

Beautiful Napili

My family and I recently had an unforgettable experience at Napili Surf Resort, and it's safe to say that it is the ultimate destination for a family gathering. From start to finish, our stay was filled with joy and relaxation, making it a truly memorable four days.

The staff were simply outstanding. Always wearing a warm smile, they were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We received daily text updates about activities - massage, yoga, sunset entertainment, monthly polynesian show, etc.

The rooms at Napili Surf Resort were a delight. Not only were they spacious enough to accommodate our large family comfortably, but they were also fully stocked with everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home.

The location of the resort is unbeatable – right on the beach! We loved waking up to the soothing sound of waves and being just steps away from the ocean. The kids had a blast at the pool, in the ocean, and tossing footballs on the spacious lawn.  The stunning sunsets offers the best photo memories.

As for the facilities, the resort's BBQ area exceeded all our expectations. It was undoubtedly the cleanest and most well-maintained BBQ spot we've ever encountered. It was the perfect spot for family cookouts, and we used it daily!

Napili Surf Resort provided us with the perfect family gathering experience  – it truly has it all.  We can't wait to return for more unforgettable memories!

Best Family Gathering Spot

The location is the resort is beautiful! It’s tucked in near the beach where there is the most delicious and cutest fruit stand. It was very easy to check in as they text and email you your code. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite for 4 nights and the layout was clean and spacious. You can easily walk out to the lawn where they have different activities everyday from massages, yoga classes, happy hour and live performances. Most of the extra activities are included with your stay. You have access to grills or can easily cook in your room. The resort is only a 15 minute drive to Lahaina. Beautiful view of Lanai from the resort and you can see Molokai and sometimes Kahoolawe from the beach. You walk right down the stairs for beach access where the water is crystal
Clear and sandy. Right around the corner is the bay where many sea turtles rest. & if you don’t want a beach day then there are 2 pools that are great for adults and children! The best part of the resort is the feeling of aloha and Ohana atmosphere. The general manager, Tano makes himself available for introductions and you see him making sure everyone has a chair to sit on during the performances or sweeping the sand off the deck in the morning. You won’t get a more personalized stay and the feeling of aloha anywhere else. Hoping we can return next summer! 

Beautiful views & amazing resort

This was our second visit to Napili Surf. This visit was just as great as the first. We rented three condos for our family of 10. Each was perfect for us. Beautiful location, immaculate grounds and great staff.  I would highly recommend to anyone. If we’re fortunate enough to ever return to Maui, we will definitely be back.

Another great visit

We had a great a vacation. The place was clean. Had lots of amenities.  BBQ grills to use. Outside dinning tables. Pool. Location was right on the beach.  Lounge chairs to use by the pool. Laundry room facilities.   The staff were great. They had yoga a few times a week.

Great place to stay in Napili.

The Napili Surf Beach Resort is a hidden gem of Maui. I say hidden because while it is on the west side of Maui, it is tucked in Napili Bay and away from the giant international branded hotel mega-resorts. Nevertheless, shopping, world-class dining, and hotel mega-resorts are only about 15 minutes away. Although I've traveled widely, the staff's ability to anticipate our wants and needs was remarkable. The GM, Tano, and his lovely wife, Angela, make this resort feel like we came home. It is great for kids, too, especially the little ones who might need supervision in the gentle surf of a family-friendly beach.

It was like coming home

Clean,  well appointed room. Modern appliances. Beautiful bathroom. Excellent views and easy beach access.  Convenient outdoor barbeque grills. Beautiful grounds and landscaping. Wonderful snorkeling on the edges of the bay. Responsive staff (we had an issue with the internet in our room which was resolved immediately). 

Amazing Beach Getaway

We were so happy to stay here! We didn’t arrive until 10pm but the hotel staff emailed us all we needed to know to check in and the code to unlock our door. We were so glad that we did not to have to keep track of a key since we were almost always snorkeling!  Our room, 222, was literally just steps aways from a gorgeous beach. The bed was large with tons of comfy pillows. We always had a ton of fresh towels. We would he happy to stay here again!

Amazing spot!

We had our 40th wedding anniversary in July.  So, we brought 3 other couples with us.  We wanted especially to stay at the Napili Surf because we have been there many times before.  It is just such a special resort.  If you want to feel like you are in an old time Hawaiian resort with no high rises and a family experience.....please come here.  Everyone says hello, they have breakfast on one day a week and they have a cocktail hour on another.  Just so special.

Summer in Napili

This boutique resort has it all except restaurants but there are many within walking distance. The General Manager, Tano, is an islander who instills deep pride and respect for Hawaiian culture…deeply insightful. Napili Surf Resort is quite but overlooks the waves with beach access just a few steps away. Rooms are air conditioned but it’s lovely to go to sleep with the sounds of the breakers in your ears. I don’t know how they do it, but the staff seemed to anticipate our needs and questions. If I could award more than five stars i would. We already have our reservations for next year.
