We don’t spend a lot of time in our room. Room was clean and service was great. We’d rather spend our money on adventures and food, not lodging. This was more than adequate and we taxied to food and tourism. Desk staff provided a map and recommendations for food and fun. I would stay here again!

Cheap and clean!

Wonderful rooms, with excellent customer service in a great location! If you need an affordable room, a mile from Bardstown, this is the place for you. It’s about 2 miles from all the bars and restaurants. If you’re in the area, go to the Rick House and try the pork chop. Wonderful time in a wonderful place!

Excellent Experience

We recently stayed at the Americas Inn while attending the bourbon festival. While the motel is not located in town, the owner Om, was happy to drive us the short drive into town and was also willing to pick us up. Not having to wait for a cab was great! Om was also very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay to be as comfortable as possible.

Great place!

Clean room, sheets, bathroom, and vanity area.  Refrigerator, microwave, tv, coffee pot, and air conditioner worked great.  Desk Clerk (owner?) was very friendly.  He also gave us some advice of sites to see while visiting.

Much better than expected.

We stayed overnight as a stopover while touring the Bourbon Trail.  Our host was very friendly, proud of his hotel and perfectly amenable to showing us a few rooms and allow our request to check bed quality in advance, which was very appreciated.  Price was quite reasonable - the amount saved easily allowed us a very nice dinner in town. Since most of our activities were out on the town, a comfortable bed and a clean room were all we really needed - making this a perfect choice.  We would (will!) definitely return!

Good choice for value and convenience.

My husband and I were exhausted when we reached Bardstown.  Fortunately, Americas Inn was very close to the highway and most of the reviews sounded like we'd be getting a good clean room for a very reasonable price.  We did, and we were delighted with our stay.  The owner is extremely friendly and helpful, the room rate was a true bargain, and the room was very attractive.  I loved the colorful quilt on the king bed and the bed was very comfortable.  There was a new wide screen TV hooked above the dresser, the carpeting and everything else in the room was very clean.  The AC worked beautifully and was extremely quiet.  And, being tired, we enjoyed the luxury of parking right in front of our room and easily carrying in our luggage.  The room is basic, but had everything we wanted and surpassed any reasonable expectations.  We were carrying food with us and appreciated having a refrigerator.  One reviewer mentioned it was unplugged.  Many hotels do that - there's nothing worse than opening a refrig and finding the ice compartment totally frosted over.  The refrigerator cooled down very quickly.  I highly recommend this motel for anyone who wants a very affordable room that is extremely clean and comfortable.  We'll definitely stay here again if we're in Bardstown.  The WiFi is fast!

Excellent room rate - room is clean and extremely comfy

Owner was friendly upon arrival, room was clean, wifi is fast and avalible everywhere. For 65 to 70 dollars a night this hotel is a must go for business and pleasure stayers. Right next to parkway which is super convenient.

Clean, friendly, comfortable

We stayed here 1 night last week. The room was good for the price. Clean and nicely decorated, but basic. The staff was friendly and available to answer questions. I would stay again if in the area. If your looking for the Hilton this place is not for you, but if you want a good clean room that doesn't require a loan to pay for then stay here. Only suggestion would be add breakfast.

You get what you pay for...

Price advertised isn't the same as the price you pay. Only gave 2 sets of towels. Not enough toilet paper. Very cheap and small quantity of soap and shampoo. No liner for ice bucket. Only one extremely small trash can, Not many pillows. Shorts in electrical power to the room. The lamps and air conditioner kept shutting off. No breakfast. Very uncomfortable chairs.

Not worth the price

Ok.. here we go.
The rooms need condemned 

The microwave works if you unplug the fridge and plug it in the microwave outlet. 

The fridge and microwave look as though the last time they had been cleaned was half a decade ago. 

The carpet,  stained and sticky, will lead you to the bathroom, where the vent in the ceilings are open, and allow the bugs free entrance into your room. Well, that and the gap around the air almost conditioners. 

We had at one point, 17 beetles, or stink bugs crawling around our room, onto our faces, and clothing. 

The management were great people. The actual building was sadly disappointing
