We had been having trouble finding a last minute booking and I found this from Trivago and now I know why TripAdvisor did not suggest this option. The B&B is barely furnished so we thought it was a new start up but then I found other reviews on TripAdvisor after we checked in. This is a million dollar home that has been converted into a B&B. The construction of the home does not provide privacy to guests as we were able to hear our phones vibrating in our rooms as we were eating breakfast, footsteps, and fighting throughout our stay. Breakfast was provided in the form of home-made waffles one morning and egg-coated bacon with toast and jam the next. Getting breakfast was a hassle as our host was unprepared for breakfast; even when we set a time, we were still waiting. There were no grab and go options or fruit offered. The whole experience was awkward. It felt as though we were staying in someone's new home that was still moving in as opposed to a well-established business. 

Last Minute Booking

I wish I had read the previous review before booking a room for my brother and his wife on their wedding night! This place is so filthy! I will be calling my credit card for a refund as well as the health department! We were welcomed to the house by a large dog. The house was dark and there were no humans around. I called the owner and she said the innkeeper had stepped out so she directed me to the room over the phone. The bedroom was basic and seemed clean enough for my brother. In the morning my brother was awakened by some other guests yelling for the innkeeper. They were clearly upset about something but unfortunately no one was around.they went downstairs to get breakfast horrible state that the kitchen was in. They found roaches in every cabinet. They tried to make coffee and there were dead roaches in the coffee pot! And what is up with the guy living in a tent out back? This place was truely unbelievable! They really should be shut down!

STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. Really don't know where to begin. Have to start by saying we have stayed at hundreds of B and Bs in our life but this one was literally the worst place I have ever stayed in my life.. From the outside its deceiving. It's set on a beautiful piece of land and I expected it to beautiful and was anticipating the lovely breakfast that so often comes with B & B's. But NO. Never and I mean NEVER in my life have I seen such a mess of a place. The first step into the place revealed a filthy carpet, huge pieces of DIRT all over the carpet, thick dust on the staircase and a total mess in every direction we looked. ( At this point I hadn't seen the kitchen/ dining area). My heart sunk. I still wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt although my better instincts told me not to. She showed us into the bedroom and at first glance we both noticed that the bed looked like someone slept in it. I thought that can't be so. Maybe someone just messed up the coverlet. After all this looks like a million dollar home and of course that can't be so. WRONG. After she showed us the bedroom and bath, and left the room, my husband and I looked at each other and said at the same time, THAT BED LOOKS LIKE IT WAS SLEPT IN. I expected CLEAN sheets on the bed. Sheets that other patrons had NOT slept on. He pulled the sheets down and sure enough, the pillow and sheets were clearly slept on with human hair ( not pets) on the sheets and pillowcases. We were flabbergasted. I immediately went down to talk to the owner, told her of the situation and asked for my money back. She called her husband who was in charge of changing out the sheets and he admitted he did not change them from the night before. They apologized and offered to change the sheets right there in front of us. Said it would be difficult to refund our money and asked if we would please stay. Like Idiots, we agreed. In the bathroom we found the shower also had pubic hair and long hair all over the tub and shower-- GROSS!! They did not have drinking glasses, not even plastic or dixie cups to rinse our mouth out after toothbrushing, no tisssues, no amenities, the toilet paper roll had about an eighth of an inch of paper on it with no additional rolls under the sink. I had to ask for toilet paper. There were used old razors in the drawers which I found when looking for some tp. It was unbelievable. I really wanted to leave however I thought we will have a battle on our hands to get our money back and we had travelled so long and far and obviously had no other arrangements made for that night. The shower also barely had any water pressure to bathe. We thought, just bear with it and get through the night. 

The next morning , we just wanted to get out of there and head out on our day. But, I did expect a breakfast, after all, its a Bed and breakfast. We go downstairs and the owner has NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING prepared or set out. There was a dining area with nothing set up in it and she said we could sit at the bar stools in the kitchen. OMG, The kitchen looked like something out of Hells kitchen. If the health dept saw it they would shut her down. Her kitchen was so GROSS, disgusting, Grease caked on the stove, counters, dirty dishes and ROTTING food set all over the place. UNBELIEVABLE. At that point I knew I didn't want to eat anything from here. But I did want my coffee. I thought how can she screw that up. Since she is no housekeeper and obviously no cook I thought why couldn't she have something as simple as coffee and oj and a few muffins. But again, THERE WAS NOTHING MADE, arranged, prepared or even thought out. She asked, "Ohhhhh, did you want coffee". YES, of course I want coffee. Well usually I do, but again from her I was having second thoughts, really. After telling us that she "would NOW make some since we wanted it", I figured Im getting the coffee and will have to get breakfast somewhere else. She clearly is incapable. I asked if she had cream for the coffee. No , just skim milk. Then she asked in this surprised voice, "Do you want me to make you something for breakfast." Just to play along, I asked her what do you have ? Toast. 

There is a guy that lives in a tent on their property. He was actually nice. I could go on and on about the place. I started making notes and there is just too much to say. If you like a pig stye this is the place for you.. We had visions of drinking wine and eating cheese and crackers that we had brought with us, on their back porch overlooking the view however the back porch was filled with pallets and stuffed vinyl furniture that looked like it was removed from a leisure van so that did not happen. I will be calling my credit card company and contacting AirB&B about this place. She needs shut down. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. YOU WOULD THANK ME. Wish someone told me

No words to describe How Dirty the place is.  We called it DB&NB,  DIRTY BED AND NO BREAKFAST
