My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary and to do some shopping. Perfect setting for traveling around the Cape! Nice and quiet and the room was beautiful! Breakfast and the afternoon tea were great and so were the goodies the owners' son made. Carol couldn't be nicer!! (We didn't meet her husband because he just had surgery.) Thank you for being perfect hosts!

Nice getaway during the offseason

We are so happy to have stayed at Captain Farris House the first week in October . The house and hosts are wonderful . We felt right at home as soon as we arrived . Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed . We really enjoyed the large bathroom area . The breakfasts were outstanding !! . Our hosts Carol and Jeff were the best . They were so accommodating as well .

Felt right at home . What a beautiful place !! 

This was our 2nd visit to Captain Farris House, this time, we had some friends join us.  My husband and I had a wonderful stay!  Carol and Jeff are warm and attentive hosts.  We were met with a lovely greeting, as if we returned home after being away for a long time.  Our room and bathroom were spacious (I almost got lost soaking in the whirlpool tub LOL), our bed and pillows were super comfortable and the ambiance was so charming.  Every day there was a delicious treat baking in the oven and each morning there was a delicious homemade breakfast.  We had early trips out for 2 mornings and Carol made delicious to go warm breakfast boxes for us.  To wind down, there are tea, coffee and other options to enjoy.  If you want to experience real down to earth, from-the-heart service, book your stay at the Captain Farris House.  Whenever we visit Cape Cod, Captain Farris House will always be our First Choice!

First and Best Choice

My husband and I really appreciated how welcomed we felt just walking in the door...everything they have done is very thought out in how they want you to feel at home with all the extras...they give you your privacy but still are being the best host in leaving out goodies, games, movies and even offering evening spirits  while you relax. The decor took me back to being in my Grandma's home with all the amazing smells that come in the morning with homemade  breakfast that is fine dining at its best! If bed and breakfast is your thing then don't miss out on this gem! It's all in the details and they definitely delivered on all fronts. We also appreciated that they offered military discount, that was an extra bonus for my Marine. Thank you both for a warm welcome and adding to our lifetime of great memories ❤️ 

Cozy and very Welcoming ! Carol and Jeff were both very friendly and you can tell they put all their heart in all the details! 

Our stay here was magical! No detail was overlooked from fresh flowers in the room to truffles and a handwritten note to greet us upon arrival.  There were fresh baked cookies and snacks at the end of a long day, robes after a hot shower/bath, and a nightlight in the bathroom was appreciated for those of us who have to get up in the middle of the night. 

The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained and there is ample parking.  Breakfast is an experience and top notch! Carol and Jeff were there every morning with a smile to greet us and answer questions about itineraries we had planned for the day. 

We had to leave early in the morning our last day there and Carol got up early to ensure we had breakfast to go.  They really go above and beyond! 

We loved it and hope to return soon! 

Top Notch Experience 

I stayed for one night at the Captain Farris House, while on Cape Cod for a family event. My experience at this Inn could not have been better! Incredibly clean and well-maintained, with extremely comfortable furnishings -- the king-size bed and whirlpool bath with rain shower both were wonderful. I felt pampered and cared for... coffee/tea station available in the breakfast room, a portion of which was sky-lit -- so lovely on a winter afternoon. The two-course breakfast, with juice, and coffee, was delicious -- nothing like fresh fruit and a Belgian waffle, with sausage and real maple syrup! A real plus for this Inn is its adults-only  policy, which guaranteed a quiet stay. Finally, the hosts, Carol and Jeff were welcoming and cheerful...  I highly recommend this Inn -- it's location in mid-Cape is perfect, and there is plenty of off-street parking in a private lot in back of the Inn. As I have stated, the amenities are first-rate and I can't think of anything that needs to be added to make anyone's stay comfortable and relaxing...

Serene, relaxing get-away

I have stayed at the Captain Farris House a number of times, and the experience is always FANTASTIC. I enter tired and stressed, and leave relaxed and refreshed. Carol and Jeff are excellent innkeepers. The room I always prefer to book is beautiful, comfortable and always spotlessly clean. The breakfasts are truly delicious. I recommend the Captain Farris house wholeheartedly!

Repeat Visitor, Loves This Place!!!

I have never stayed somewhere that felt so open and friendly towards the guests. We were taken on a short tour of the property on arrival to show us everything that was available for guests, books, coffee, DVD, food and even port. The house is beautiful as are the rooms. Everything in the room worked and everything was spotlessly clean. Plenty of space for parking at the rear of the property.
The only issue we had during our short Cape Cod stay was the weather. Not even our hosts had the power to change the weather, but they are probably working on it.

Home from home

Very lovely home. Owners make you feel as you are family. The breakfast is delicious and the bonus of fresh baked cookies every afternoon. Great location to visit most anywhere on the island. Rooms are good size. Would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Beautiful home / warm welcoming

Fantastic B&B - Great food - wonderful hosts - easy access to room - sitting & reading rooms have coffee-cookies, even port wine, Di Amore Amaretto Liqueur, & Cherry Sherry.  They remembered that we use decaf coffee and were very accommodating.
