Stayed here with a few friends in October. What a great old house!! It is beautiful!! We stayed in the Cavern Cascades & the other friend stayed in Hector Falls. She had a great  enclosed porch. We sat out there at night after all the fun we had at the Wineries. Our room was large, with 2 double beds, very comfy too!! It was clean and so quaint! 
Our host - Kris was so nice, so friendly!! He had a big smile and was very happy to help with any & all questions. Breakfast the next day was delicious! Kris went overboard with all the food we had!! We had eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, french toast, home fries and yummy coffee. It was a wonderful stay..hope to stop back-soon!!!

Quiet & quaint B&B with a great host-Kris!

Stayed here for a short getaway.  Very nice rooms, were clean and well kept. The host was awesome with a lot of information about the mansion and the area.  He was also a delight to talk to. An excellent setting next to the falls.

Beautiful Mansion next to the falls.

We stayed one night in Eagle Falls room at Cook Mansion.  The house is beautiful and has two large dining rooms, a large living room with tv and a large kitchen on the main floor that guests can use.  Everything was very clean.  Shequaga Falls is beside the house and is beautiful when lit at night.  Kris, the host, was wonderful.  He made us feel at home and offered suggestions for places to see and directions to get there.  Breakfast was great with eggs, potatoes, bacon, strawberry French toast, pastries, fruit, cereal, etc., etc.
The only negative points are that the tv was temperamental and we could hear other guests from our room which is typical of an old house.  Also, the kitchen door is left open all night to allow guests to come and go.
We would definitely stay again when we are in the Finger Lakes.

Beautiful Old House

We recently stayed in the Shequaga room on a quick mid-week vacation. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was almost as large as the room itself. Kris was very knowledgeable on recommendations for activities and dining and made a delicious breakfast. The house’s history is truly fascinating, but by far the best part was the view from our room which looked directly at the Shequaga Falls! 

Charming with great views

We recently stayed at Cook Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Montour Falls, New York for a long weekend. It was a great experience and Kris made it especially great.  He was knowledgeable about the area and knew his way around it. He made some helpful suggestions.
The bed-and-breakfast itself was awesome. It was nicely decorated and clean.
We stayed in the Rainbow Falls room which had a shower in the room... not for everybody but that was the reason why I booked this room.
The Mansion is in a good location for access to Watkins Glen and also for the various wineries.
We would definitely stay at this location again.
